I think it might because the flickering probably keeps you from going into deep sleep, giving you more REM time, which is where it's more natural to go lucid.
But I wouldn't abuse it. You need your beauty sleep.

    Hi ,
I tend to believe what CFT says. It seems to be preventing you from the deep sleep. IMO a lucid dream is when you are aware that you are dreaming--and can take control of your adventure.

When I become lucid and then start to awake, I don't know if I'm in a dream or awake. Sometimes it take me quite a while to figure it out. Sometimes it's a relief that I've awoke.

I sometimes meditate with a lit candle. I wonder if you could do something similar, but with the intention during meditation of lucid dreaming or astral projecting. At night, before bed, light the candle again and maybe it will stir the memory? Sometimes that small trigger is enough to make you aware.

If you believe it can, then it will
