You don't need vibrations to separate. They are most often felt when you are beginning to project, but as you acquire experience you either don't feel them or feel them early in the trance. So don't use vibrations as signposts that you are ready to try an exit technique. If you're in a good trance, good enough for projecting, wait until you can either see through the eyelids or are seeing scenes in front of your eyes (and they are slowing down.) Vibes may or may not happen, but wait until you're 'seeing' something before trying to get out.
