View Full Version : Am I listening to my own subconscious?

hey Mr Bruce,

I very often hear quite intense voices during the early stages of my OBE experiences, usually right at the start of the vibrations coming in and before I've smoothed them out (I'm old school Robert Monroe method at the moment, got your book though). At first I thought I was being attacked by spirits, as the voices seemed very harsh, sort of shouting my name in whispers or just random nonsense. I recently have started wondering if by some altering of my consciousness I am able to listen in, as it were on my own subconscious, hearing all the random words and sentences each of us think every day but don't pay any attention too.

Any thoughts?

G'day,

This is quite normal. Please dont' worry about it.

You may hear voices, sometimes addressing you by name, and very loud noises, etc. These are very real sounding.

They are best considered audio hallucinations.

They are also a test of courage.

You need to totally ignore these and stay relaxed and let the obe happen.

This is very like clairaudience, which is the ability to hear spirit voices.

This could also be considered the mutterings of one's own subconscious mind, or what your subconscious is receiving.

Robert
