Even though I think this was a projection (had some remote viewing and exit symptoms when I lay down to sleep) I fell asleep, so it goes here.
Was dreaming about this house we built. (Recurring theme, need to follow it as pathworking, have been considering it).
This time I was excited (and whoever was with me was excited too) that we were building a basement in the house. The basement was halfway built but it was looking nice, with some white tiles covering the bottom, and there were downstairs going to some caves we could go back down and visit.
Even though in retrospect it seems creepy now (furnished basement that connects to underground cavernous realms creepy), during the dream it was exciting and happy.
Then the dream went somewhere else that I have forgotten.

Hey, CF.
Could mean that you are "laying the foundation" for the next energy body, while at any time you could go back down "to the lower plane" (underground, the caves) if you want to. The happiness you felt leaves space for a positive interpretation even if the picture doesn't seem very positive by itself.

last night or early in the morning (more than 12 hours ago) I dreamed a few things, that included heavy impact force like a tsunami, that caused wind-like conditions in some sort of a place surrounded by a force field, which protected me from the direct impact of the 'thing', but didn't completely protect me from the pressure that it caused. My parents were in the dream, in a different region, and they had asked me to stay with them, but instead I went to the 'other side' of this region where the 'event' happened.
Hard to explain, even harder to describe.

What lovely vivid dreams, CFTraveller. . . .I find caves to be mystical places, & feel that being beneath the ground is not always a bad place to be; it is like being in the womb of mother earth for regeneration (for me). Was there water in your caves? I often encounter a pool of pure, blue water in "my" caves.

water and wind are big archaic forces, which I connect to feel/empathy and spirit/insight - but how do you yourself perceive this dream-message? On a more personal- or on a more mankind, or astral, universal plane? Or possibly all at the same time, as there may exist so many layers and levels of realities beside each other?

Are both of your parents deceased (on the "other side")?
So, you have a big force impacting you from outside - the tsunami. You are shielded from the main impact - the force field. And you finally experience turbulence - the wind. It seems a bit prophetic in nature, like telling you something's happening "around" you, but you're shielded "from the worst," though some turbulence cannot be avoided.
I wonder what would have happened if your decision had been different, if you had evaded it altogether?

Hello, CF.
Are both of your parents deceased (on the "other side")? Yes. My dad passed away in 1985 and my mom just last year. So yes, I am aware that 'the other side' means 'dead', but I don't know why in the dream they wanted me with them to protect me from the wave/pulse. Maybe part of me thinks being dead is safe, but I don't think it is.

I didn't want to evade it, I wanted to be there to see it. I guess the part of me that wants to be here is stronger than the part of me that doesn't. Your guess is as good as mine, re the tsunami.

On nov. 28 or 29 early, I dreamed that an old friend, L. C., who I haven't seen in two or three years, was younger than her years. She's approx. 58 to 60ish, but in my dreams she was in her twenties, even younger than when I met her.
Just noting it down for further reference, because I have the feeling it's going to come up.

Dreamed that I was in the afterlife, in the area where the recently deceased are counseled.
I found myself counseling a young woman, who was very distraught, because she had suffered a great loss. While I was still in the dream, I wondered why it was that she had suffered the loss, yet we were all in this afterlife realm. It didn't make sense in that context to me. I woke up with a feeling of sadness.
I remembered more about the place we were in. It was a house, but it was a house that was different. On the left room there was a rather large pool, the right side of the room was separated from the pool room with a small step-like wall, (like half a foot high) and there was water on the ground. The whole floor was made of the surface that the bottom of pools are made of, and there was water (about half a foot of water) everywhere, even in the kitchen. I wondered how these people could live always immersed in water.

bereavement counseling on the other side. sounds interesting, i never thought of that before. loss goes both ways i guess, is the message.
a friend of our works as a hospice nurse, has for a few decades, she values highly the seeing of folks in a good way through to the other side. recently our friend lost her colleague in hospice work, who was another 'she' working as the bereavement counselor. this colleague had just gone through a rough divorce after a lifetime of marriage. apparently her husband had found a younger model to play house with, and the kids were all growed up and gone. well, next thing they know, this colleague doesnt show up for work for a coupla days. checking on her, they find her in her home having ended her life. apparently some folks and colleagues forgot to counsel the bereaved bereavement counselor. sometimes we imagine because someone has a certain skill that if found in personal need of that skill, they can solve their own problem skillfully. well, that's not a human possibility.
perhaps this dream poses a choice, the kind of choice requiring much educated opinion before it is decided upon. the cat in a curious moment kinda thingy.
be well,

I think last night's dreams (or projections, I did some meditative work before bed last night) were significant. I had some regarding children I can't remember, but the last one was quite dramatic.
My husband was a pilot and I was me as I am today. He had an airplane that he had worked on, and we had discovered that if he flew it at certain times it could go to the past. It was something that we had discovered by accident, and part of the dream was me explaining the process to the wife of a man we had saved.
Some years ago, this man was dying of colon cancer. My husband was flying him to the hospital when something happened and he had to mess with the engine, and the result was that the flight happened at a time of a particular planetary configuration (!), and when he got there it was a few years in the past. Then they found the past version of the man, had him have surgery when the cancer was a very small polyp, and had saved his life. This man was a surgeon, so that when they got back to the present they dedicated themselves to helping people that were dying of various diseases by going into the past and either getting it on time or helping them not make the choices that got them to the point in the 'present'.
Now, I was explaining the 'real truth' of the miracle cures we were performing to the wife of the man in question, because they had a son that had overdosed with dangerous drugs, and was in the hospital on life support, expected to make it. He was angry and demanding to be saved, and his mother was also, asking why, if we could save his father, how come we couldn't save him? So I was trying to explain that we had the ability to go back only at a certain time (because of the planetary configuration dealie) and try to go back in time to try to convince him not to get addicted, or to try them in the first place, and that would be the best we could do, and she was angry and distraught.
At some point I was trying to figure out how to pull this off when I woke up.

Hello, CF.
This feels like tracing effects to their causes. Anything in one's personality can be traced in such a way, possibly also emotional material that diseased the body or difficult decisions. Tracing something to its origins can help unravel the energetic construct and help not repeating the same effects "in the future."
From my point of view that would come under the heading of somewhat advanced meditation - maybe that's why you represented it as a complicated time travel scheme? Every meditation of this kind traverses through our life for the original events and energetic causes and seeks to release them.
I remember sitting in meditation and having spontaneously have events and memories come back from child- and teenagehood, things I haven't thought about in ages, spontaneously and with no external trigger. I think it's at this stage of meditation where such unravellings occur.
Travelling on a plane might be an interesting portrayal of the process, because again here we have a vehicle of consciousness, but an advanced one. This might be a clue as to which energy body is involved. Planes and helicopters indicate an even higher degree of mobility than any ground-based vehicles, for example.

Oliver

I have been rereading a book and introspecting regarding my now extended 'Dark Night of the Soul', and last night before bed I asked Whoever to please give me some sort of insight about 'what's real' vs. what's my own desire.
I went to sleep and I had a variety of dreams, some that 'already happened' (meaning they were some sort of precognitive) and the last one, which went like this:
I was in some sort of either hotel or school or apartment building. My son was with me but didn't look like himself. However, I had my own consciousness.
I was meditating, and had claivoyance. I saw a man who was possessed by a demon and was fulfilling some sort of ritual in which he was supposed to kill a certain number of people, in a very predetermined ritualistic way. I had the feeling the man was 'dumb', not because he was, but because the entity that was possessing was limited in understanding, and had to do one thing at a time in a prescribed way, sort of like a smart zombie. He had been successful because he was moving from dwelling to dwelling, surprising the people who were there, but other than the element of fear/surprise, he wasn't very agile or quick-thinking.
So I 'see' what he did and where he's coming, and I start running to get my child. Even though he is heavy and big, I grab him and start to run to the door. The 'man' is taken by surprise and stalls enough for me to almost make it out the door. He became flustered, and had decided we were next so he started changing his approach, and invoking some other dark entity. At the moment I began to feel afraid, and when I realized that the fear was meant to paralyze me, I started to invoke the Light of Christ, and to affirm that God is in Charge.
This made me snap out of it and I started running, and running down the streets.
I ran for a very long time and entered another town. This town appeared to be blessed and secure, and I knew I was safe there.
Now the dream changed perspective. I went from first person to third person, and I was sitting reading a book/magazine, the story I had just experienced. It was the story of the woman who had written it, who, upon reaching this other town, settled there and became an editor of a famous Home and Garden type of magazine. I was looking at the magazine and there was a page of various salads, and it featured Salad Niçoise , which was either her invention, or her favorite salad, or representative of the place she was (Nice, I suppose, but I'm not sure as at that moment I was waking up).

Hello, CF.
Nightmares play the role of releasing negative emotion, in this case quite probably survival fears. The dream itself played out the fears and it seems to have succeeded in releasing what it was created for, because you were released from the dream itself and could see yourself as editor (creator) of the dream itself, which was meant to clear your astral body of the fear energy.
Both "hotel" and "school" could point to the astral plane as where this is taking place, a likely location for releasing fear stored up in the astral body. The fears could have to do on the one hand with any perceived threat to your independence (a long-running dream theme IIRC) and also a bit of the worry about your son.
There are many signs that you're getting on top of those fears, including the positive ritual, and also the way you can later on experience the dream from outside. It seems like you are also succeeding in another endeavour. The other side of town, safe and secure, could be the mental plane - blessed because it is closer to Source.
Establishing yourself firmly in the mental body as the base of your consciousness could be the current goal you are running through. This would require finally cleansing and aligning the astral body to a degree that allows for this. I think that's what is happening here. To watch yourself from outside (or above) usually is a sign to watch the action just perceived from the perspective of a higher body, so I think the editor is the mental body observing the cleansing process in the astral body taking place, guiding the current stage of your growth.

Oliver

Back to the farm- in two dreams.
>We had moved back into the farm, and were remodeling the old house. There was an old man, my grandfather's majordomo when he was alive. He had kidnapped my son and was going to teach him how to be a cowboy. He had gone with him willingly, so I was walking around the farm looking for him not knowing where to look. Someone (a relative, not sure who) remembered where the old man lived, and took me to his shack. It was daytime so the majordomo was out working in the fields. I found my son sleeping in a room, healthy and well- except he had tattoos in his back (over both shoulder blades, two octagons with designs on them, and he told me he had gotten it from doing some sort of work which I didn't understand. I then got on a horse and took him home. He was fine and happy and liked this farming life.
I then woke up with a bitch of an asthma attack, tried a few things and finally settled on my inhaler, which woke me up. I tried to sit on my recliner to get my breath back but it was too cold in it (it's been in the thirties at night for two nights in a row here in sunny FL) and finally got back to bed about an hour later. It took me a long time to go back to sleep, in between my inability to breathe, and getting comfortable in bed. Finally went to sleep around 6 (when my hubby woke up) and had the following dream:
> We're back in the farmhouse, and are surveying the work that needs to be done. We are now moved in the house and some rooms are remodeled, but there is a lot of work to be done. There is old plywood all over where it had been sloppily half-repaired, and we are removing the old stuff and working as we go. It's time to go to sleep in the house and some creatures (succubi type) come to try to molest us. I insult them and kick them out of the house.
Then we walk around the exterior of the house (which looks nothing like the real house in the physical did when it existed) and notice that there is a restaurant in the top of the back side of the house, which had been remodeled. I ask someone (a man in charge, like a lawyer- a dream lawyer maybe, no one I know in waking life) and he said that the top of the house was sold to this restaurant, who (and I just got this pun) had restored this part of the house.
So then the alarm woke me up, and I'm still sleepy.

Hello, CF.
A friend just shared his perception of the symbolism of meal preparation - the similarity to reality creation. So, a restaurant could mean something similar.
Tattoos remind me of "energy imprints." Remember when dkane reported his adventure in consciousness where he said he was learning to tattoo? I think he was tattooing a young Indian monk in that one.
Octagons remind me of the trigrams of Daoism, like this:

Before bed I asked my sub. to send me some guidance, as I'm drawn to something but the universe seems to be sending me a different message, and I am not sure what is the 'right' path to take.
I dream a series of things that I already have forgotten, and find myself in my old workplace, which has been combined with a yet older workplace, a restaurant I worked at when I was in college.
I am sitting on a bench in front of some equipment I have already repaired, but there is no more work and if I turn it in I have nothing more to do. I am bored and sleepy (yes, I know what that's about, lol) it seems I have been repairing this equiment for so long I have been sleeping through it, and I half-wake to see that the restaurant part of the company is very busy, there is a lunch rush going around us as we sit on our benches sleepy and fat, unmoving. I then decide to work on the restaurant part of the business, since I have prior experience. I approach my manager who before I speak says "go take a break". I give him the equipment and tell him I want to help with the rush. He says to me that I am too expensive to work in that side, and I tell him I have already punched out and can work for him at a different rate but I'd rather work for less money than sit around and collect a big paycheck while doing essentially nothing. He doesn't respond (is rather baffled) and I jump to action, running for the kitchen (which is like two feet away around us).
I see some plates and start heaping some lettuce in some empty plates to get ready for the salads that will need to be made for the people that are ordering. Then the alarm goes off and I punch it down for another ten minutes, and go into a series of images and as I try to pay attention I am told the name of a woman (I get the impression she is a woman) that sounds like Hiu Jao Shen or something like that, and the alarm goes off again.
Then I really got up.

Hello, CF.
I dream a series of things that I already have forgotten, and find myself in my old workplace, which has been combined with a yet older workplace, a restaurant I worked at when I was in college.
So, you're returning to your old work(place) with reality creation (restaurant).
Maybe you have forgotten the fun part of reality creation while you did all that purging/cleansing (repair) work?
I then decide to work on the restaurant part of the business, since I have prior experience. I approach my manager who before I speak says "go take a break".
So, you really seem tired of this one-sided business and ask for some (re-)creation.
There is a shift of values (money) involved. You overdeveloped one side over the other, and now feel drawn to balance this. Management is probably your mental elemental and its belief structure (right and valuable are often relative to a belief structure), so money is representing what your original belief structure values, while you represent the desired change - you want to give up the restrictions inherent from the old beliefs and balance it with something else (less money = less of the old belief structure's values).
I see some plates and start heaping some lettuce in some empty plates to get ready for the salads that will need to be made for the people that are ordering.
You want some growth (greens/salad = green = growth) from doing something new that helps fill people's needs.
Then the alarm goes off and I punch it down for another ten minutes, and go into a series of images and as I try to pay attention I am told the name of a woman (I get the impression she is a woman) that sounds like Hiu Jao Shen or something like that, and the alarm goes off again.
Then I really got up.
Maybe "Hiu Jao Shen" is a play on the sounds, but I could not find no comparable work, anything "ju-...-tion" or something similar.
Cheers,
Oliver

.. this time I was the teacher.
I was in a school, when I began to levitate. I flew around and did some tricks I had never done before. I was trying to traverse some obstacles (escher-type stairs) and overcame them. Then I noticed that some people were staring at me, and wanted me to explain how to do it. I then was explaining to some adults some of the techs, when some people in a school (like an elementary or middle school) saw me and were afraid, unlike others who thought it was cool and wanted to watch.
A child approached me and told me he was afraid to learn because his mother had labeled all of these things as 'occult', and therefore 'of the devil'. I then told the child that this was not against God, because God wants the best of us, and this flying helps us to get through difficult places, and if God didn't want us to do it we would not be able to. I remember explaining more details about this theme, how no one was hurt from being able to fly (actually, it would prevent falling injuries because people wouldn't fall and hurt themselves, etc.
Then some more 'regular' types of daily-world things got my attention and I left to go home, and soon woke up.

Not that I remember. The techs I was using were slightly different that what I normally do, and the 'counseling' of the children was something new, but other than that no.
Last night:
There was some sort of group activity that was happening, and I was supposed to be part of it. I found myself not to be properly attired, so I sat down to watch instead of taking part in it. Then my husband came out of 'left field' and asked me why I was not with the others, and I told him I wasn't wearing the right shoes (I had cowboy shoes instead of whatever everyone else was wearing, which looked like black Gis) and it looked like everyone else was doing some sort of Form (Kata). I told him I was waiting for 'later', but he seemed upset I was missing the proceedings.
I wasn't upset, I felt fine where I was.

Hu-Jah Shem, or Hashem =The Name, where Ha = The or God, as in God's Name, Shem = Name. many refer to god as Jah alone, yet to include Hu = Universe, we have both sides of God in a referenced of 2 in a unity, married as a union = 1, equivelants of one another, or reflections partnered. though remember God beyond God is nameless, as are we all at 'that' level of relating. many refer to Hu as the primal first sound, indicative in the combination of aum, aka om. as I am, I aum. Human, where man is god's, and a human is a godly man, lest one be a man alone against the world undone. sanskrit gives 'hu' as meaning 'god', the nameless or many names.
you werent being indicated to a specific name, but rather to The Name, this 'woman' represents the feminine, or the soul. and CFT bares the name, or whatever C stands for.
in dreams/visions we run upon ancient language references, sometimes the whole dream is spoken in the first language (origin, source). it is hard to bring it up into our multi-linguistic world and decipher it. but not impossible, as all language stems from this root, the language of angels, of God beyond "god" as a thought.
it is in respect to this truth, that understanding refers to and even addresses GOD as HaShem, or simply as YOU. like saying to someone whose name you do not remember or simply do not know, you say, "hey you", as in HaShem. the magic of "hey you" is that it breaks down to "hu". 'YOU' is derived from the mystery of "I am" and "Thou". where it is said that when asked "who are you", HaShem answered, "I am that I am". and again, the e(i)nlightened human rises up from having stripped everything from what is a thoughted "god", saying "Thou Art That" or "That Thou Art"...etc, to denote the No-thing of God beyond God.

Some of this will be the dream, some of it the waking state.
Last night the dream of a few days ago happened in a most unusual way. Or at least part of it. Here is what really happened last night (not a dream):
Last night my son had the Christmas concert at school. He is in band, so we were going to see it and eat pasta (it was a dinner concert.) When we got there it was chaos, and some of the volunteers didn't show up due to changes in the schedule, so I offered to help. And then I volunteered my husband to help.
So we were putting together plates of pasta for the other volunteers to help bring them to the tables, and they told us that the salads had to be served first, so I ran into the kitchen and they were making the salad. I immediately went into high gear, putting plates in trays and putting salad in plates, while the volunteers picked up the trays and brought them out to the tables. And in the middle of the chaos I realized I was doing the same thing as my dream of a few days ago- putting salads in plates and shuffling them along.
Then i went back out to continue to put pasta plates together and we finally sat down to eat and enjoy the rest of the concert.
We got home, helped the young'un with homework (algebra!) and finally went to bed. Woke up at 5 am from the following dream:
"I was watching Betty White walking down a path and suddenly collapse. The news said she had suffered a stroke and died. As I was watching this on TV I suddenly had a stroke, and found myself falling down. It felt like my jaw and head were crushed by something. "- Then I woke up with the worst headache of my life. I have a pinched nerve or something in my neck and the pain is excruciating. I woke up and took two ibuprofen (my hubby helped) and went back to sleep, after waiting for the pain to abate.
Then I went into the following dream:
"I was in my old house, we had inherited it (my old house was sold when my parents divorced more than twenty years ago) and my brother and I had inherited it. We were wondering what to do with it (I wanted to restore it and move in, I don't know what my brother wanted to do) when I spotted an old bureau that had been in the house the whole time and we hadn't noticed. (There was soemthing similar, but it was some sort of antique picture holder.) in the back of the bureau there was a picture from my grandfather (the one I've had all those dreams about since before my mom passed away). When I saw the picture I began to cry, and woke up and I could see my mother sitting next to us, and I saw her and embraced her, as if she had come back. Then I said to her something like 'I've missed you' and hugged her. Then started waking up and had body awareness. Then I saw her floating above me and I told her I loved it as I awoke. She floated in front of me for a little bit and then faded away. She also morphed a little as she faded, and as I awoke more and more. Then the alarm went off, I tried to go back in the dream, but I had to get up.
I still have the pain in my collarbone but not the headache any more.

Hey Tim. I had an MRI for the neck thing before, and it was determined it wasn't anything to worry about (the doctor's words, not mine)- but after last night I'm considering going to a different doctor.

im not sure if i understood all right and what all that in your dreams means for you... just can say that i
too was so very happy when i met my mother in dreams after she had gone, for me it was very important
to see, hug and talk to her cause i had longed so much to feel near to her again and know that she is well.

Dreamed I was in some sort of plane (like a floating plane with a temple in it). I was going through some trials, for another person. Then one of the 'gods' or 'elders' or 'beings that were running the show' focused on me and started to kick and stab at me, and expressed dislike for me. Then he was stopped by the others because he wasn't supposed to take a personal interest. Then the person I was doing this for said he didn't even want the thing this was for, and I felt angry and abused.
Then I woke up with bodyaches and the worst sore throat ever. Now I'm sick.

I had a series of dreams, which involved many situations- some in my grandmother's house and the preponderance of showers in it- I have forgotten most of it except the recurring dream of my father having been dead for three years, and coming back. This time he was 'alive' but dead, if you know what I mean. This is an ongoing thing and I might make a post about it, because it's not like something I have seen anywhere else or in any book I've ever seen. But since I've forgotten most of the dream, I'll go on to the one I woke up to.
We were in a cruise ship, my hubby, son and I. It was a bit long and involved (many parts that I've forgotten) but at the last part of the dream I was walking around many levels or floors in the ship. I don't know if I was looking for my cabin or just walking around, but I kept going in our room and out again. At some point I noticed someone was observing me, and I tried to pretend not to notice- I was trying to see who it was without looking up, and I didn't succeed- I didn't see who it was.
Towards the last part of the dream I was back in the room, and about to tell my husband about it. when I could hear a song on the stereo, with a chorus that went like "Have you met the wizard?" - it was a catchy tune, lots of harmonics and the male voice singing sort of sounded like Gerry Beckley from America. I still could hear it in my head as I woke, and I even sang it to my husband.
I already forgot the tune, but I wrote down the lyrics.

Back in my grandma's house- I went there and saw it was under reconstruction. In my previous visits it always looks better on the outside but the inside had bad dilapidated rooms with the roof falling down and such. Now I walk in and there is some sort of yellow substance on the floor. I decide to levitate so my feet don't touch it. I hover around the house and see with amazement that some of the parts in the house have been completely gutted and rebuilt with new clean materials, wallpaper has been scraped off and primer has been put on the better parts of it, and some parts that weren't so bad have been scraped and retrofitted. There is one room in which there used to be a fireplace (nonexistent in real life but familiar in dreamtime) which was primed and a bed put in where the fire used to be. There is something about this room that reminds me of 'waking life' but for the life of me I haven't made the association yet.
As I float around, I see my dad (deceased), mom, (deceased), 2 living siblings, but there is one missing sibling. I have been told that this particular sibling has left to go away and has to reinvent themselves, and I wonder about this, I realize this is for the best, and I keep flying around, surveying the property.
This is the first remembered dream of the year.
Happy New Year!

Jan 2- I had a dream in which I was reading a letter a terrorist had left (a manifesto or something like that) describing why he was doing and detailing some of the things he had done. As I read the letter I also experienced the scenes he described in the letter. Sometimes I was in the scene as an experiencer and sometimes I was a watcher. At the end of the dream I was given a name. I won't write it here because of the possibilities and I don't want to slander anyone.
Many dreams in the last two days (the first and the second) about demons and the devil.
I was given a lesson about the devil by who I thought of as the Archangel Michael. He didn't look like his description in icons, or popular culture. He looked more like a character you would see in a playing card, but his head was on fire- it was a deep strong fire around his head which illuminated the whole room. He did not look humanoid at all- more like a robot. It's hard to describe.
There were others like this (demonically themed, and a few times I found myself praying in my sleep). It's been a few nights of this.

Really? I'll have to check that out.
We were given (or had) and apartment in the top floor of a building in a city. I was aware we lived in our house and was not happy that we had to live there now. It was a half-lucid experience, because I had the memories of our regular life, and the half-awareness that we still lived here in the house but were 'at present (dreamtime)' ocuppying this tiny apartment. In it we had three cats, and I don't think they were the same cats we do now. (We have two, but had another one who passed two years ago more or less).
So now we were shopping in the city, and were going 'up' to a restaurant (or something like that) in the top of another building (or it was the same, I'm not 100% sure, it's been a day since I had the dream and already began to get confused about it.- recorded on Jan 7-. So to get up we had to go through a lot of hoops-
There were escher-esque stairways that required floating to get over it, I had the conscious ability to fly in my half-lucidity, so the stairs were no problem, only annoyances, and there were other distractions, such as going through a hospital or medical center to get to the other door to continue going up, until we finally got to the top floor, ate or whatever we were there for, and then we decided to go back down, I think we were planning to come back to 'earth' reality, when there were conveyor-belt like down going stairs and other types of mazelike contraptions to go down. Instead of going down the hard and roundabout way, I elected to go through a trapdoor that led to a slide. It was scary because I wasn't sure what was on the other side of the trapdoor, but I did it anyway. As I got through it and reached the slide, the descent was very slow (it was a tubelike slide, like a ride on a waterpark) and I was trying to hurry up when I started to hear -beep-beep-beep- and realized the alarm was waking me up. I tried to stay with the slide but at some point I lost it, and had to turn the alarm off. I then tried to close my eyes and go back to the slide, and almost had the feeling of going down, but I woke up.
Later on I did a meditation that I will write about on my other journal, dated today but it was actually yesterday.

I think this is similar, but in a sideways fashion.
We were living in a house that was a store in a shopping mall. That is, the front of the house was a store, like a furniture store or a kitchen cabinet store, lots of granite and marble, and as you got inside it was our house. My husband commented that when I felt like taking a walk I could walk around the mall and look at the other stores. If you continued inwards to the house, it turned into a very large cave-ish space, but with trees and animals. The very top of the cave had a hole in it which let the natural light in, which gave a beautiful effect- a magical effect akin to the scapes in the movie 'avatar'- not so much in appearance (nothing extraterrestrial-looking), but in the feeling of magic and beauty. Inside the cave we looked like Mayas and our cats had Jaguars, one black jaguar and a spotted one. Besides my son we also had a baby girl (in diapers). The baby girl is the only person who doesn't have a correspondence in 'real life'. I imagine it may be some child aspect of me, maybe.
Nothing remarkable happened, we were just lounging in the couch in the cave with our cats, who were snuggly.

Hello, CF.
Seems like you're nursing that aspect of yours. :)
It's interesting that you had such an experience of such a natural realm. I, too, had one, it reminded me of the movie Avatar as well - and I never saw it before. My personal interpretation was that I had represented to myself the etheric plane, the realm of the nature spirits.
You could have been visiting there in your astral body, the mall could denote the astral plane as starting point. The Mayas might be a clue, as they lived close to nature - they built their cities in the jungle after all. Native Americans often serve as picture for closeness to nature, but the Mayas also make me think of magic.
Which might make it worthwhile to explore the meaning of this experience from a shamanic point of view.

Had some dreams that were very negative, but ended up in a good place.
Started with me and my family going shopping in a large city, and seeing some UFOs in the sky. One came down and I could see it was a helicopter, but was moving too fast, and I found this perplexing.
It lands in front of us and then things get complicated. There were people around us that were loitering, and army men in helicopters start picking them up and loading them in the chopper. I am also brought in, and my husband and son dissapear, and I am transported to what seemed like a very large police station. There is no memory of the transport, it's as if I had lost my lucidity and appeared there.
I try to explain to them that I was not a vagrant and try to show them my ID and purse contents and I see my cellphone has been smashed to bits and everything in my purse seems smashed. I assume there was a scuffle when they were picking us up. This part is confusing.
Then I am told by a male police officer that he can help me communicate with someone on the outside if I have sex with him. Apparently the fact that my phone is broken has to do with my inability to contact someone to vouch for me and he takes me to a plaza in public, and attempts to have his way with me. I let him and cooperate, only because I want to get out of there and back to normal life. When I complain about the public place and he attempts to have sex with me, he is struck with some malady. His eyes go up in his head, he looks like someone brain damaged and starts to drool. I am 'saved' from being ravished, but feel bad for him, and then a female officer tells me that this man has some sort of defect that is kept under control by medication, and something must have happened, or he forgot his meds. Anyway, I feel sorry for him and take him inside the police office and they take him to an infirmary.
When I'm there I'm told I'm free to go, and I start to cry, because I don't think anyone will even take my call, much less bother to come get me. I say my father (who is dead IRL) wouldn't bother to get the money to put gas in the car to come get me, because I'm so far from home. (My dad wasn't like that IRL either, so I think this father figure is symbolic.)
I then wake up, crying and forlorn.
I've been sort of depressed all day.

I'm sorry your dream left you feeling that way. It's a challenging dream to interpret and leaves me wondering if the policeman was some type of astral denizen behaving in predatory ways, who was subsequently picked up, or if it was just some type of error signal in a simulation that was meant to work on an emotional issue related to the root chakra.

I was attending my dad's 'ascension/graduation' party. He was in a group (of thousands) that was supposed to graduate to 'somewhere else'. I was sitting in the audience but had knowledge of the group that was supposed to ascend, as if I were in the bus too. They were dressed in white robes and looked like your standard 'angel in white robes'. My dad was in this large bus with his other 'cronies' that were supposed to be with him. When they got off the bus, my dad didn't seem to be there (there was no one that looked like him, but I recognized the others as his roommates.) I felt that there was some sort of scam going on, and that they were faking something.
I never saw him and even though there were groups that 'took the shuttle up', no one from his bus went up and I felt that they had no plans of going.
I woke up later after it turned into something else.

Most of the first dream was influenced by: The bad day I had yesterday, the commercials for Anthony Hopkins' new movie, and an old but macabre episode of Bones I watched on TV last night.
Here it is: I was in what seemed like an office, with cubicles and an office kitchen. All of a sudden my hands began to make jerky movements, and I realized that I was not in control of my fingers. In fact the movements were similar to the movements of my fingers on the keyboard as I type. But they were involuntary. Suddenly I found myself in the kitchen, with a very sharp knife in my hands, chopping vegetables- only it wasn't me doing it. I immediately alerted everyone that I was not in possession of my bodily functions and that someone should take the knife away from me and everyone came over (no one was anyone I know IRL) and someone took the knife away. Then I was led to a desk or table, and people began to ask me some questions, as if I was possessed and could channel. I was sitting in the chair (or reclined) and I began to fall asleep in the dream. (You know, one of those 'sleeping inside the dream' dreams). Then I felt parts of my body beginning to levitate, and I began to do sponging on my body to counteract the effects. By then, I was half-awake and could see the reactions of the people around me (no fear, only interest) as I was 'puppetted' in the air. At that point I wasn't afraid, but did not like the feeling of not being in control. (Yes, I noticed that subtheme there also.)
I woke up and was a bit apprehensive, as this reminded me of the experiences I had years ago, and I prayed and did some sponging, and went to sleep.
Second dream:
I was living in some sort of group home, (or returning to it) and I spotted a very large aquarium that only held a few fish. They were large, but scrawny and hungry-looking. Apparently no one had fed them in my absence (but they were not mine). I looked for the fish flakes and couldn't find any- so I went to the pantry and found some fish-flavored cat-treats. (you know, those shaped like a fish) and threw a few into the tank. Suddenly a great feeding frenzy ensued, as if there were many more fish in the tank. Then I could see glass-colored fish fighting for the food, so I got more and put it in the tank. All of a sudden, on the floor around my feet there were many fish that had previously jumped off the tank before, and were also glass-colored (you know, clear, like jellyfish) and I assumed that these were fish that were half dead because they had jumped off the tank while looking for food. So I started scooping them up and throwing them back in the fishtank.
As I put them back, they began to acquire color and movement, and soon the fishtank was full of colorful happy well-fed fish and there were none on the floor. There was a planter by the front door full of herbs, and I went to grab a bunch to cook dinner for the people there- and I began to wake up, having the dual awareness of standing by the pot of herbs and holding a plant with my hand (it was oregano, and I could almost smell it) and as I woke more and started to lose the feeling of the dream, a voice said "you are such a nice romanian gypsy lady" and I started to say I am not romanian, and have no romanian blood as far as I know, but by then was awake and was thinking it to myself.
Then I got up and turned off the alarm. And got the cat off my feet.

How much do you (and anyone who reads this) think our dreams are affected by daily events? It seems to be a theme with me also, where I will dream something and it is very close too something that happened that day or a few days before. OR is it our subconcious putting ideas into our concious that we then act out IRL. I am thinking it is a little of both.
The question is, If our dreams are JUST segments of things we did IRL, then how can we interpret them as messages from higher beings or guides?
This goes really deep I realize, like seeing butterflies over and over IRL. (signs). etc.
The main point is if I dream of a house (self) and fixing it, how do I know this is a sign or just that I watched a home improvement show last night???
Does that make any senses at all?? :?: :?:

How much do you (and anyone who reads this) think our dreams are affected by daily events? I do, about fifty percent. I think 100% of our dreams are things we perceive and the other fifty percent is the processing-for-storage that takes place.
It seems to be a theme with me also, where I will dream something and it is very close too something that happened that day or a few days before. Yep, IMO.
OR is it our subconcious putting ideas into our concious that we then act out IRL. I am thinking it is a little of both. Maybe- or our subconscious processing that we perceived in the nonphysical, including precognitive events- that we haven't perceived with our bodies yet, but that we have access to with the nonlocal part of our minds. Perception is perception, whether fivesensory or othersensory.
The question is, If our dreams are JUST segments of things we did IRL, then how can we interpret them as messages from higher beings or guides? Because that which we experience (perceive) is not limited to the physical-sensory. If objects are subject to quantum entanglement, why not our psyches? (Look up microtubules for more info.)
The main point is if I dream of a house (self) and fixing it, how do I know this is a sign or just that I watched a home improvement show last night??? Well, the obvious question is ....obvious. Or, Mrs. Obvious asks the obvious questions:
1-Did you watch a home improvement show? And,
2-Does the symbolism in the dream 'translate' well into what your mind is doing?

Last night's:
A friend of mine (SW) was having problems with one of her sons, and there was a person in her family (either an uncle or her husban's uncle- I perceived this as a relative 'one generation up and to the side'- who was trying to harm their family. After much maneuvering she told me she thought he had given her cancer by somehow poisoning her in the past, and now she was going to die.
I was in a room talking to her son who had been transformed into some sort of monster and I was trying to talk to him, because the hospital that had given him the problem were trying to put him in a room with bars, when it was supposed to be her senior prom, but instead they were trying to segregate him and treat him badly.
I was sitting to his right, I did not see him, he was to my left, and I communicated with him with sign language. I was working as an advocate for him because for some reason I was the only person who understood him, and others thought he was mentally impaired. He wasn't, he just couldn't speak.
As I woke up I heard voices giving me some nonsensical 'ad libs'. I decided to test if these were aspects of my monkey mind and I asked them nonverbal questions, and waited for the answer. The answer was as nonsensical as the first blurting. I then realized the difference between the simple lines blurted by my processing mind as opposed to the mind's eye pictures I get which are often clairvoyant and precognitive.
I must learn to cultivate this, and maybe decipher what the blurtings may mean, if anything.

Last night's, I just remembered-
I was told that I would die soon and I need to teach all my magic and give it to my son; so I start flying, and show him I can, and I can do other things (like PK). I start teaching him flying, and as I do this someone else sees I can fly and tries to stop me. We get attacked and I fashion a female being to protect my son. I surround him with her, and put him in hiding, lying on the floor of a closet with her draped around him. A large being comes in and we start to fight, and he attacks us, and in the course of the attack he hits my son with some sort of beam; his protector dissapears but he is ok, and I destroy the attacker.
We are fine, and have destroyed the danger, and then I wake up, and hear a full name as I wake. More 'voice-over gibberish', something that makes no sense. I call them adlibs.

There was a party in a hotel. I was there but in a sort of 'mentor' or 'protector' figure. I stayed with a group of people all the time, to make sure they were safe throughout the proceedings. I do not recall what kind of party it was, but there was a hotel salon engaged for it. At some point I had to go to the bathroom, but I couldn't leave the group alone so I had to hold it until the event was over. Then I was presented with a hotel room for my sacrifices, and stayed there.
Then I woke up, had a terrible headache, got up, took something for it, did the usual four o'clock activities (pee, drink water) and I went back to bed.
I went back to the hotel salon, surrounded by people. Now I am teaching a lesson (don't remember about what) but someone who is with me a lot (may be my guide- he is male and is always at the left side of me, just besides my line of sight)- my guide asks me "so what is quantum physics?" I answer the branch of science that describes what happens to particles, and these particles hold most of the power in the universe.
He asks me why and I report that when you separate an atom it causes a massive reaction, which releases the power that keeps them together. I also said that when we study quantum mechanics we are studying the particles that represent this power.
He seems pleased about this answer. Then one female in the group (she seems to be a student) asks me a question and I answer it. I don't remember this exchange. Then my male guide tells me of a trick I can use to channel some of this awesome energy.
He tells me that when I stomp my foot some of this energy is released inside the foot, so I have to stomp the left foot and then rub my palms together, and this channels this energy into my hands. I'm not sure what this is about but I did know what he was talking about in the dream. I tell him I'll try it at another time, when I need to use it.
I wake up and it's seven. I don't have to get up until seven thirty, so I stay in bed and decide to 'see' my morning hallucinations, but none come. I fall asleep again, but the alarm soon wakes me up. As soon as the beep beep beep starts I start to get hypnagogics! This annoys me, and I wonder, as I'm getting up, if the alarm frequency is doing some sort of entrainment, and I turn it off, get up and start my day.

I was going down a stone mountain, on a walk path that was parallel to a road for vehicles. As I was meandering down the path (with walls, and ruins. It was very interesting looking). I hear a motorcycle coming down the path, and I see an old boyfriend (who is now deceased). I come out of the path and he stops. We talk, he gets off the vehicle and we go to a nice spot and have a kind of picnic. We spend time talking about many things. He then gets on his bike and goes away. I then keep going down the mountain and go into a stone-ruin-house and meet my mother and grandmother. They have some milk in a cup and I drink from it, although I wonder how fresh it is, it being a mountain in the open air (the house is more a ruin with no ceiling, but that makes it airy and cool) and I am aware that they are dead also. I taste the milk anyway, and at some point wake up.
A few notes on self-reflection: When I was with the ex, my lucidity was 'different'. I wasn't aware he's been dead for a few years, but I was aware he was just visiting. My awareness was more emotional than mental, but there was a certain 'knowingness' about what this was about (saying a final goodbye, something that didn't properly happen in real life).
By the time I was in the little stone house, I had more awareness of what kind of environment I was in, and my mom and grandmother were ghostlike, more like 'impressions' than images. The milk was more 'solid', and it had flavor and texture. I also had some awareness that my tasting of it was somehow symbolic, although I was not (and am not) yet clear on what exactly it symbolizes (except the obvious mother's milk nourishment symbolism). BTW, it tasted good. Not like fresh milk, but like reconstituted dry milk, a taste I like. FWIW.

Hello, CF.
Many of the things one is given in nonphysical reality are energy information packets (like Kurt calls them) / ROTEs (Monroe's term). You did what was to be expected - you received the package and you "took it in."
Energy and information are two different views of the same underlying reality. It may have been something you needed, a piece of information you needed to go forward with some (emotional?) process. The information may not be new (reconstituted), but it will be helpful (nourishing as milk is). I sometimes have the experience that I have all the required information already, but a sudden inspiration rearranges the contents of my mind in a way that gives me the right perspective. This might be the case here.

Nothing to do with analyzing the dream, but oddly, (minus internal combustion vehicles) the first Vision I had in my head reading this dream was how my PC game "Oblivion" looks when played. There are ruins and beautiful landscape (Meadows, hills, mountains). The weird thing is I could imagine in my mind the house with no roof and walking around the scene.
As soon as you mention the milk I thought of an energy package also (before reading Olivers responce) Is similar to the milk and eggs in my recent entry.

We had moved to a new house that my husband had gotten for a very small sum of money. As usual, we still lived in our house, but were going to split the time between both places.
We were fascinated by the large rooms when we moved in, and went to sleep. I woke up with my son calling me. I was half asleep, amazed that the alarm clock said four o'clock in the morning, and I was unbelievably groggy, almost unable to open my eyes. I see my son in a hallway. He tells me he got up to get water, but can't find the kitchen (in the dark, the first night in a new house) and isn't sure where the kitchen is. I go with him, we find it, we get some water and he goes back to sleep. Now I am walking back to my room, a little lost (I'm not known for my fabulous sense of direction, lol) and I notice a pair of french doors. I wonder what room this is (I already had seen the living and dining rooms) and on the other side of the door is a very large pool- about as large as my present house, in a shape that has lots of curves and 'coves' all around it. I panic, because when we moved in (we have two cats) I didn't know there was an indoor pool, and I start to look around the pool. The shape is similar to this
http://ts3.mm.bing.net/images/thumbnail.aspx?q=544922403642&id=9f58deda42d10fb84f45d97dff999c05&url=http://www.huahingardensresort.com/userimages/swimm50.jpg And each 'arm' or 'U' of the pool is one of those 'walk in' design, so only the middle of the pool is somewhat deep. I frantically run around the pool and see if I see any of my cats in the pool, and in one of the 'walk in' areas, I see what seems like one of my cats. When I reach in to scoop it out, I realize it isn't, it looks like a stuffed animal, but it's alive. It appears to be taking a nap in the bottom of the lap area-and it seems very cute- like a toy cat. In it's tail it has a tag that says "tank animal". I stroke it and then put it back in the pool, and look around. My cats aren't in it. I'm relieved, then I look around the room, and it has many windows and they are all closed with blinds. I look through the blind and see the house next door. I realize that this must have once been a back yard and it was closed in.
It's now in the morning (it was a long dream) and we walk outside and now one of my aunts is there, looking at the house with us. We are looking a the entrance of the house, and even though it's very large, it needs a landscape update. I'm contemplating what to do, when my aunt points out a weird looking alley right besides the house, which is covered with soem sort of film (maybe red colored) and posters. I am not completely sure but I think they were Oprah posters. I am wondering if this building is ours or another house. At this time my point of view is limited, like a close up. As I look at this weird wall, I wake up.

In the past days my recall hasn't been so great, so I haven't recorded anything, other than knowledge that I dreamed a few things that were pleasant but I can't remember anything specific.
This morning:
I was pregnant, and we were going on some sort of vacation on someone's house. (like a house in the country, something like that). My son and I were there, I don't remember my husband being there at all- but I think he took us there and was supposed to come back to pick us up later. Anyway, my hostess takes us to our rooms, and I am deciding which room is going to be whose, when our hostess lights up a cigarette. I tell her that I am pregnant and have a child, and neither of us can be exposed to cigarette smoke. She says she doesn't care, it's her house and she'll smoke if she feels like it, inside the house.
I threaten to leave if she doesn't put out the cigarette. She refuses. We get our things and get out of the room. Then something happens that I have forgotten, but involves realizing we had the ability to fly and I think we leave the place. I have forgotten the rest, but if I remember I'll post the rest. I do know it had to do with magic, but the specifics aren't quite there.

I was having some sort of 'watching tv' dream, a complicated sitcom about a pregnant woman who was dating a straight transvestite, and it morphed into a dream in which I was living at the seashore- literally. In the dream my house was right at the shore, and the front foyer was on the water- the water was about ankle deep, and warm. In the dreamtime it was summery, the water was warm and it was very nice and sunny. The rest of the house was higher, but most of the dream was spent walking around the outside and the front porch, and I could see into the house, which seemed to be made of some sort of marble. When I woke up I wanted to go back in the dream, it was so pleasant and delicious.

I got up at 5:20 am, got up, peed, went back to bed. Did some sponging of my legs and fell asleep. Was dreaming we were in this house we had 'bought' some time ago (in a previous dream) and had decorated, but were living in part of it. I remember walking down some hallways and the scene changed.
Now I was walking through some testing grounds in some sort of stadium environment and I was helping a young girl (of around ten years old or so) get through to somewhere. This was taking too long, so I decided to fly. I took her by the waist and lifted her to where we were supposed to go. Some of the people saw me and said I wasn't supposed to fly, because it was "not allowed". I responded it was, and I would use whatever capabilities I had, and flew with her until I got her to where she needed to go. Then the environment became 'like a hotel' or something pleasant like that, and I flew around while people looked at me and disapproved.
Then as I woke up I heard the "boo" and "Milania" that I spoke around in the OBE & liminal experience subforum.

This experience was like when I phase, but since I woke up to it, I'll call it a dream. (+ I wasn't lucid at all)
It started with a view of a scene passing before my eyes, and I could see the sidewalk in Hollywood Blvd. where they have the stars in front of the Chinese Theater. I was looking at the sidewalk, going from right to left, seeing the stars and the names of the actors in them. As the dream went on, I could see 'newer' parts of the sidewalk, and in back of the sidewalk was storefronts, like for window shopping, but instead of the store displays there were museum-type exhibits in which you could see moments of an actor's life or representations of the films they were in. Usually the exhibit corresponded with the star's name on the sidewalk. As I continued to survey the territory, enjoying the intricate details in some of the exhibits, I got to a part in the dream where instead of watching the scene, I was in it. (Going from third person to first person perspective, in a smooth movement much like phasing). Now I was in the scenery, walking on the sidewalk, and I got to a part of the scenario where the exhibits weren't completely made yet, and the sidewalks were half done. I was looking for a murderer or a criminal, and I knew that what I had to do was to look at the areas in which there were missing figures and the clues would lead me to where the perpetrator was.
Then I woke up, still amazed at the intricate details of the figures.

I think I spent a good deal of time last night either doing retrievals or learning how to do them. I woke up various times last night in the middle of different procedures, such as walking on the outskirts of a crowd 'feeling' for people's confusion, and talking to them, and I did this in various 'disaster' type scenarios, and I actually woke up during one of these 'drills'. It was weird, because I don't remember the details, but I do remember getting instruction on this.
I don't remember walking them anywhere, just approaching and talking, which is why I think that these were 'drills', and not actual scenarios. I hope this doesn't mean what I think it means.

I don't think it needs to mean anything bad (if I read you right). Accessing a recently deceased person through talking to them is already part of the retrieval process, encouraging their use of their inner senses so they might make contact to facilitators later on, I'd say.

Oliver Hey Oliver.
It just seemed that if I'm all of a sudden receiving instruction on retrievals in different scenarios it may mean that we're getting ready for a big 'event', and 'extra hands' may be needed for a mass movement of newly deceased. And that occurred to me as I was still half asleep.
So that's why I'm a bit alarmed.

In this dream I was in a room with most of my family- mom, dad, grandmother, grandfather, and great-grandmother. (All deceased).
I was having this exchange with them when I slowly became lucid and realized, one by one that they were dead. I didn't get upset, but got curious as to why I was in a room with all of them. What got me upset was seeing my grandfather (the one I dream the most about) looking young, and wearing a thirties' type hat (like those that they use in barbershop quartets) complete with suspenders, and for some reason I asked him why he looked younger and why he was dressed like that. I was very angry at all of them for being dead. There was also something about my parents and my dad in particular- I think it's that I remembered to ask him something I've been meaning to ask him for years now and I always forget or am not lucid enough to remember that has mystified me. This time I remembered too late, and knew I was waking up and it pissed me off.
I may make it's own post to it, and maybe someone more learned than me (like Kurt, hint hint) may give me some insights.
When I do compose that post, I'll probably pm him for his insight, and I'll welcome anyone else's too.

This afternoon I attempted to meditate and ended up falling asleep in my chair. Then I ended up with a headache. :)
This morning I dreamed I was traveling with someone who took me to see a boy who was ill. I do not remember what the problem was, but it was explained to me that the root of his problem is that when she was pregnant or when he was an infant he heard his mother say something about it being the wrong time or just wrong, and he interpreted it as being unwanted, and this caused him to proceed to make himself die (or go away). We spoke to the child, (actually went back in his thoughts and witnessed what she said) explained to him that she was not talking about him, and that he did not have to 'go away', that she wanted him, and it was understood that he was healed or that he didn't have to continue to be ill.
Then I woke up, a few minutes before the alarm, and I lay there in my bed waiting to see what else I might see, but it was time to get up.

I am not sure if this was a dream or a projection with clickout- the reason is that I lay in bed and I immediately had exit sensations- the vertigo, whirling around and I could see myself leaving the earth- and then I passed out.
Later on in the early morning I was dreaming that I was with my father and a lady that was a teacher. She was telling me of a way of doing something, like distilling the personality of someone to get some of their qualities to come through without the entire personality. I think this was about mediumship, but everyone knows how wary I am of this. Yet, she was explaining how a personality is a 'data' type of component of a person and not really part of their essence, and how you can channel a personality while their essence can remain separate and discreet.
Then I was told that my son channels my father a lot (!) and then I saw myself sitting on a chair writing on paper, and my script was very different than my own handwriting- however, it was identical to my father's handwriting, who had a beautiful script, tilted to the right, which is rare for a left handed person.
I wondered if I was now channeling my father, as I was writing in this paper. But it was strange, because I was still me, there was no loss of continuity.
Then the alarm went off, and I pushed the delay, but I couldn't go back to the lesson.

Another learning dream-
There was a classroom and I recognized a man that had been on a previous dream. I felt he was my husband (not the one I have now, lol) but he was in another group of four. There were four groups of four, and we were supposed to be paired off in such a way that each group would have two husbands and two wifes. I felt I should have been in the same group with the man that was supposed to be my husband but I wasn't, and this was disconcerting to me.
Then we were learning about some science lesson (not sure if it was chemistry or biology) that I was not practicing because I kept trying to end up in the same group as my 'husband'. Then there was the feeling that I was not completing the course because I couldn't remember doing any work in it. I felt like I had wasted my time 'not doing the work', and even though I was getting results I was not happy, because I didn't feel like I had done anything to deserve it.
I know what the last part of this is about, but not sure about the quatrads (or whatever they're called) and what they're about.
Also, there were rooms for each group which had four beds catercornered with each other to foam a square-shaped platform. Very architectural-looking.

This was quite different in that it was long and detailed.
I was at my old place of employment, or rather, a new company one of my old bosses had started. I was waiting to be assigned the job, and at some point ended up going to the store, a department store that doesn't exist in waking reality. In the store I was trying to find a place to have lunch (like a lunch counter in a drugstore) and also I was trying to either look at something or buy something.
I was told by a store employee that I was not welcome in the store and to please leave (and wouldn't get me a table either, something like that). I asked the woman why, and she evaded me. I went after her asking that if I was going to be denied service, she could at least do me the courtesy of explaining why. She then started to cite things I had written out of context, and accused me of being some kind of occult practitioner. So I clarified what my religious views were, and she started quoting things I had written, which really surprised me, because I did not know some of the things I had written in the internet were published in a variety of magazines and books, related to religion (one of the magazine in the list was guiding lights, and this surprised me greatly as I have never written articles for any church or religion. Other things I had written were featured in Unity publications, which, even though it is the church I go to, I never have written for them. So anyway, this woman kept quoting me out of context and with no understanding and I tried to explain what I wrote meant. As she rattled off a list of things, and I explained them to her, she got more and more impatient and tried to walk behind to a back office (like where they run things) that was 'employees only'. I then asked her to come talk to me and not treat me like this, and another woman came to the door and asked me what was going on, and I explained to her that this employee was denying me my rights and I deserved to know why. When she ran out of things to object to, she just simply left and hid- at that point the lady told me that this employee was jealous of my minor celebrity (apparently in this dream I had written a book and she recognized me, but did not approve) and decided to deny me service.
She assured me that the rest of the employees had read my book and liked my ideas, and I was welcome to the establishment. But still, it bothered me that this other woman had tried to push me around and not explain why, except for my insistence, and still decided to walk away when she realized there was no reality to her judgement.
I then woke up still flustered with this whole situation.

It was the night before last night. I lay down exhausted, it was late, but I didn't want to go to sleep so I attempted to try to stay aware, not to project, but to observe a transition, to whatever. I started doing energy work but got as far as my knees and passed out completely. Later on in the early morning 3-4AM I was dreaming I was spinning like a top, and it reminded me of a futile exit attempt I did years ago where I spun instead of doing anything else and I then couldn't stop, causing nausea and not being able to exit anywhere.
This time It's a dream and I'm spinning and I can't stop- except that in the dream someone (unseen) is spinning me like a top and it's like I have no traction to stop. At some point I wake up and I don't like how I feel, not nauseous like the time I spun at the exit, but just 'not right'.
I went back to sleep and had some other dream that I already have forgotten.

I cut that off because I have the 'jumpy' screen when it gets to long. But, I think this dream points to your dogmatic approach. You simply profess what others have said. You don't speak so much for your own mind, but that of others. I think this message is fairly clear.

"get off me" and "I can't breathe", and degenerated into incoherent screaming as I was crushed. When I woke up I was in the same position (on my stomach) but no one was on me. :)
Last night I woke up in the middle of the night and had an experience of separation, but mental or third-eye- I got a vision screen, where I saw this round apparatus (I've seen before) and at some point it resolved into a crowd scene, and I started to see it from above, as if I were on top of a tower looking down. I could see people walking around, and a hooded figure walking amongst them. Then I saw the hooded figure fall down, get up again, walk around some more, and then fall down in a heap again. This happened a few times until I got farther up and lost the scene. Then I was back on the 'apparatus' scene, and finally I got back to sleep.

Do you think it's possible that while you were dreaming, you were in the process of separating and you translated what was then felt into this dream? This is not very clear, I admit... But I say this because it reminds me of the last time something like this happened to me... I was also laying on my stomach when I suddenly felt a weight on my back, as if someone was leaning (or even laying) on me, but in the end, it was simply my own energy body which I mistook (again!) for some other thing or presence!
...And the time before this one, I reacted just like you, and I basically told my own energy body, very firmly, to «leave» and to «PLEASE leave»(!)

I was reading where Robert talks about the fear of the silver cord breaking and what not. this is the same with folks in our lives, especially the worst of em despite situational ties which we work to make better. i believe that what we bind on earth is also bound in heaven. but turning that, i see that we have a choice to recognize those ties that bind us on earth, and if need be cut them loose while we are consciously present of earth to do it. but this task of cutting entails forgiveness of the whole ball of wax, else hidden judgements as per unresolved memories keep us bound. interesting enough, those we are closest to, having no ill feeling gathered between, are free and unbound, as is love's power of release. we often backwardsly think about how this works, and we can never loose ourselves from "teachers" of negative ilk, until we realize having had quite enough of said lesson/s, to wake up and cut ourselves free as well. so ya see, this is about loving yourself, as in so doing have you given love's power the word to unbind you. the old saying, ya can run but ya cant hide. this is why 'givers' as we call them, have such a hard time, as everyone overwhelms them in taking. we cannot outdo the scales of justice. lots of folks think to do good deeds as if this alone is going to bring them good things as well. however, duality is a balance, always seeking balance of binding matters.
dont be afraid of being loosed?

This is from two nights ago- Didn't get a chance to get in before:
Was in the bedroom that I had when I was growing up. Instead of back home, it was in one of the houses that are in the neighborhood, in a street that's parallel to my actual street. In it the room looked sort of like it would like now if I hadn't finished the mural in my room when I was around 14, and if it had been left untouched by the people that bought it.
In this dream-timeline, the room was half finished and left abandoned, and I had decided to repaint and rehab it- and in the dream I also realized that even though the house had been bought by two different families ever since we moved out when I was a teenager, I had had it 'inside', and in my 'inside' room the place hadn't been touched, not even by me to finish the mural or paint the other walls.
The dreamtime took two days (in about two hours, it was an early-morning dream) and in the first 'dream day' I was explaining a group of people that the house was untouched for years (and looked it, it was pretty dilapidated) and unfinished (in real life I did finish the mural, a fantasy woodland scene in one long wall.). I was discussing with this group what my plan was for the other walls- either repaint the walls or change the color, and rehab the mural and finish it.
I was deciding on the colors depending on the wallpaper that had been in one wall (from when I was a little kid) or a more modern scheme (like my present house).
Then it was nighttime and I went to dream-sleep. The next dream-morning I was still in that room and my family had all gone out. One of my son's friends knocked on the door and I was telling him he was already outside playing. It occurred to me that everyone else was able to come and go and I was stuck in my room. I understand this metaphor and it most definitely applies in this case.
Then I woke up, with some vision screens that I already have forgotten.

Most of the night it was battling zombies, one by one, until I was exhausted. Later on I was counseling a specific person (who is only an acquaintance in real life, which surprises me greatly) and then flying around putting artwork on the roof of my house. When my dream husband commented on it (why are you putting these statues/glyphs on the roof?) my answer was "for art purposes only, and to mess with people who will undoubtedly think there is 'another' explanation for why I would have artwork that can only be seen from the air, as in the Nazca Lines.
Apparently my subconscious is skeptical of the Chariots explanation.

I have a theory (why, of course I do!) that we 'family' all over the world - a monad thing - and sometimes we run into each other without any context as to why and what for. I have noticed encounters that had a certain bazingga to them and I would never understand. Sometimes someone wants to talk to me and won't let me go. Sometimes I need to talk to someone for no apparent reason.
So, the theory goes, they're family in a global sense.

Hey, CF.
The zombies were probably old behaviour routines still running on automatic. You could consider these "mindless" like zombies. They lead kind of an unlife, too, still stumbling around without truly being connected to a source of life force. The act of fighting the zombies probably then was like weeding out your system of beliefs and behaviours that have no positive, life-affirming purpose.

Two nights ago- the structure of the house I grew up in had been transported to a mall by my old boss who had work for me. Same scenario as the previous 'my old job' dreams, but this time the 'office' I was in was next to what used to be my room (the structure), and where previously I had been sitting around doing nothing and getting paid, now there was a bunch of equipment for me to repair. I was so happy. Except for my boss, everyone else (including the engineers that were in 'my room') was new.
Last night- I was told my house was now a 'temple of milk'. The inside had changed, and was more like a palace (as if my house had additions and had been propped up somewhere up high, maybe in the top of a tree. There was some rooms made of milk candy (or something like that) and the designated woman (which in this case was me) was embodied in a 'milk goddess', bare-chested. What struck me about the place was that it was 'way up high', and the smell was strange. A little bit nasty, a little bit sweet, like candy, or condensed milk.

I then went to the front office and started talking to the secretary (that used to be when I worked there) and she was telling me how smart he was, etc. Then my son walks in the room and tells me that he'll ride home with me after all, and walked out to get something from his bench.
At this moment someone else (that I don't know, a man) walks in the room and bugs his eyes out at me. I then look at myself and am naked from the waist up and realize that when I pulled my sweater up the whole blouse came off too, but for some reason I wasn't wearing a bra (which never happens in real life) and then I flusteredly started to put my clothes back on before my son came back in the room.
Then I woke up.

Recurring
We had moved to the beach. This beach environment is recurring, and the last time I 'went' there was shortly before my mom passed. I see the beach and remember when I used to be younger (in dreamtime?) I used to love to go in the water- no, I yearned to go in the water. This was a hunger that I remember having before (in dreams.) In my previous dreams I have looked at this beach from my house (the house I grew up in, in dreams, not reality) and in other ones I have driven and driven and driven to get there, only to wake up when I finally get there.
In other versions of this dream I'm walking along the beach, looking for the right moment to jump in to catch waves, and a variety of things happen when I do- either the water stops making waves, I realize the beach is fake, or I can't feel the water, as if it were a hologram.
This time I repeat something else that has happened- I walk along the beach looking for the right moment to jump in, but lose the desire to jump in. Also, the 'beach house' that I am occupying in this version of this dream is similar to another I've had (just before my mom's passing) but it is represented by her actual house- a knowing that it is it, and I walk 'in the town' towards the house, and I expect to see my grandmother in it.
So basically this was an amalgam of these previous dreams I've had, without the need.
Today's, non recurring.
I am residing in some sort of school/fortress/refuge. I am not sure if I went there voluntarily or was 'abducted'- the feeling is that it's a little of both. In parts of my dreams my son is there but not in all the places.
It feels at times that I'm on a space station- because in parts of this dream I seem to be in outer space and in other times I seem to be on the top of a mountain, or underwater.
In the beginning of the dream (It was very long and I woke up various times to go back to it) I was in the 'outer space' part of the place. I was lying down in a 'pod' type bed where I had the view of 'outside'. Outside the 'pod' there was a large room that looked like a space station, and the feeling was vertiginous, which is why I was tied down. I could see the stars and I could see smaller ships flying over/around us. I didn't like when they flew over us and seemed to 'see' us. This made me very uneasy, and there was the apparent agreement that we were invisible to them, although right next to them. In another part of the dream I was inside what looked like an institute/school, and my son was there. I was in front of a balcony and when you looked out the balcony there was (in a lower tier) another balcony, and so on- so where we were was surrounded by more building, giving us the impression of great height and security.
At the last part of the dream (a lot of the 'learning and exploring' has been forgotten due to the length of the dream) my son and I decided to go inside a fortified place to take a nap or rest or something while everybody else was outside, and I was in a locker looking for the keys to get back inside after we were out (or something like that) and he was in taking his nap while I was distracted doing something.
Then, as I was looking out the window, there was a split awareness and now I was back inside with him and outside simultaneously, and I could see people outside pushing the 'pod' where we were into the water, and we went underwater. I assumed this was some sort of attack, but no one was worried, because the place was sealed, self-sustaining, and anytime we wished to get out all we had to do was break the seal and swim out, but we decided to wait a bit to see what was happening outside.
Meanwhile, the 'outside' me was looking around at the action that was happening 'up', we were being either attacked or inspected or searched, and I was trying to inform someone of what had happened.
At some point I woke up without any resolution or understanding of what was happening. Maybe awake consciousness will help with that.

Went shopping with another female friend and my son, we were in some sort of touristy destination. I had parked my car and we had gone into a store where we won a box with dishes inside it. I had stored the box in some sort of locker and we went to get it when it was time to leave. After we got the box I forgot where I had parked the car, and my friend remembered where the car was. We walked there, put the box in the trunk and proceeded to go in the car and returned home.
This is the first of this type of dream where all the problems are resolved (found the car/phone/ or whatever) and everyone went in it safe and sound.

This started out as a phase, but it quickly turned into a dream (with dream awareness) so I'll post it here.
I got up early with a backache, but didn't want to sit up, so I propped up pillows, realized I was equally uncomfortable and slowly melted back down to a sleeping position.
While I was still conscious I began to see my parent's bedroom (in the house I grew up in) and thought "Interesting" and decided to walk in and see what I would find. I went into their bathroom, and decided to take a shower. The bathroom looked like it did when we lived there, but the shower compartment was different- it had been refurbished with some modern-looking panels that had many showerheads. I thought "how cool" and proceeded to go in and take a shower.
In the middle I realized it was different in that the whole bathroom was now a shower, and the floor had a drain, so I decided it had been refurbished that way (and not that the bathroom ceiling, which was now lined with a plastic celling with rain showers, was leaking or anything.)
Sometime in the middle of my shower I came to the realization that this was a hospital bathroom, and when I was reaching for the shampoo I realized they had this powder soap that was reminiscent of laundry detergent.
At this moment I decided to complain to the head nurse in charge. At this moment my lucidity had 'switched to' dream lucidity, the type where you know stuff from the dream but don't realize you're dreaming.
When I walked out of the bathroom (all dressed magically, I suppose) I was no longer in my childhood home, and was in a hospital.
In the hospital I saw my mother, my father and my grandfather. My parents did not elicit any wonder in me, and I barely remember seeing them (it was more of a matter of knowing I saw them and they were there, but I wasn't communicating with them) but what surprised me was that this shower was not my parents, but my grandfather's room and he was still in the hospital. This was surprising, because he passed away in the late seventies, and I have seen him so many times that I assumed (and had dreams intimating that) he had transcended his present stage and was more in the mental plane.
However, my communication was with the nurse in charge, and I communicated my concerns about the bathroom, and we talked about my grandfather, and I then woke up, mystified.

I had a series of 'animal themed' dreams, in which I was in a 'fairy-like' place, and I was surrounded by animals. This follows some meditative work I had been doing last week, in which I was asking to meet my totem animal.
In this dream I was surrounded by all manner of animals, and they were 'trapped' in some sort of clear boxes. Someone (my totem? I think it was the lion) was capturing these animals and putting them together. According to him these were all my totems (or aspects) and I was worried that he would put together animals that could eat each other. Then when I looked at the group there was this very large salamander or lizard of some sort that was separated from them. This was as large as a small alligator and I 'knew' it was a 'fire' salamander.
All the animals seemed ok and even happy to be there. The ones I remember were
dogs, cats, birds (cockatiels, to be more exact) and possibly snakes. I was afraid the snakes would eat the birds, which is why I looked inside to see what I would have to separate when I saw the salamander.
This made me realize that a few days ago I dreamed I was feeding birds that were in huge cages. I was putting the seeds in each compartments, and as I turned around there was someone next door cleaning out a horse stall. He was 'mucking out' the stall. (I have no relationship to horses IRL, and I'm even a little afraid of them.) But in the dream we were in part of the same farm, only I was in charge of the birds.

I already had posted here, but don't see it. How weird.
I had a few dreams, and the second one went like this:
We went to a concert, and in it the guy in the concert was playing electronic music. I didn't really like it, until he started playing something really rock'n' roll-y. And then the concert was in my bedroom, we were sitting on my bed and the performance was in the wall, where the headboard is. The headboard was like a hole in the wall and there was the stage.
I lay on the bed while I listened to the music, and then, as I was falling asleep (in the dream) The musician bent down and tapped me on the head, waking me up with a start.
I woke up abruptly, in the same position as in the dream (same place as in the dream).

I then woke up, propped myself up and went to sleep again, to have another dream, which I remembered the minute my head hit the pillow last night.
I was in this huge house that my entire family was staying in- brothers, sister and son, and possibly parents.
My room was rather large and full of extra furniture. I then selected the furniture that I knew was mine (looked like the bedroom furniture I had as a child) and removed the furniture that wasn't mine. The extra furniture was decorated with red silk, and I identified it as belonging to one of my siblings, however, looks like the sheets that were in my mother's room.
I do know what this means, and it's a clearing.

Another series of dreams, some forgotten.
The first one: I was in the hotel that I owned (recurring scene). However, the carpet was filthy, and I looked for the vaccuum and cleaned it up. I had two vaccuums, one was broken, so I used the good one. My mother, or a younger version of her, was in the dream, but she didn't talk to me, or I don't remember what she was saying.
In the second one I was working in a house that belonged to some rich people. I was one in a group of people that were working in this mansion. We had another (spacious) house to sleep in while we were working (it was a long dream). The first night I had a nice large room to sleep in, and the next morning I went to the big house to work. After the day was over when I went to "my" room there were a pile of people sleeping in it- I walked around the 'sleeping' house and saw it was full wall-to wall. I then made a very uncomfortable place to sleep and went to sleep in it.
I then woke up, went back in, had another dream that I have already forgotten. The funny thing is that I usually remember the last dream I had, but not this time. It may come to me later in the day, and I might come back in to write it down.

Just remembered this mornings'-
I had gone to an office and done some business- and when we were going out, the man in charge brought a boy out (a teenager, very large, with a small head). He told me that when I signed the papers I had agreed to take care of a boy that was in a bad situation- He was an orphan from a place that could have been indonesia and was going to be sent to a workfarm if I didn't take him home.
I became scared because he was slightly retarded and very large and muscular, and was afraid that he could hurt my son, and my son was afraid of him. I was between a rock and a hard place because I didn't want this boy to be sent to what I believed was a slave situation, so I had the option of either sending him back or taking him home.
I was trying to figure out a workaround (to send him somewhere where he could be safe and free but without endangering my family) and I woke up with this dread, because I felt I had been tricked into this situation.

Had two dreams tonight, one of them reminded me of the earlier one. (A dream character actually asked me about something that happened on the earlier dream.) When I remember the details I'll put them on.
In one of them I was trying to do too much, the theme was that I was trying to fix everyone else's problems, and I was tired of it. I don't remember the details but I remember reflecting on the dream and coming to this conclusion. (in the middle of the night, that is.)
The dreams came back to me one by one.
In one I was putting salt on my pool (I have a salt pool.) Then instead of my front yard there was a 'club'-type place, and I was carting around a big bag of pool salt and I was putting salt in their pool, their hot tub and a few other pools. I'm not sure but I think this is the part when one of the people asked me about my first dream, because I think they asked me about the doctors/mentors that I was losing-in the previous dream- I think they asked me how they were doing.
In the previous dream (I'm almost sure) I was in some sort of 'higher state or plane', and I was asking for help or guidance from someone. (Teacher/doctor/mentor type of being). After I found (him) I later found out he had died. So I went to another for help and after some time found out that he had also died. I think I was in my third teacher when I noticed a trend.
I also remember (as I write this) that I was in a dorm in a school situation when this was happening, and the people that were dying were teachers, and there were sections of this place that looked like a beach resort and others that looked like a hospital, and there were doorways that kept sections closed off from others, and I had to sneak around to go from one place to another, in fear, not for my life, but for the life of the others who decided to help me.
I then woke up, and went back to sleep and had the second dream with the salt and the pools, and my sheer exhaustion at trying to condition everyone else's salt pools.

so the salt pools were a protective measure, hopefully to stop any more teachers dying?..
CFTraveler
11th July 2011, 04:10 PM
I haven't tried to make sense of the connection- salt is protective and also conditioning- so there was this sense of 'duty' attached to the sense of 'fun' that swimming in a pool or soaking in a hot tub connotes- so in the pool dream I was doing the grunt work while others enjoyed the fruits, and every time I was done there was yet another one to do-a metaphor for my life as it's been going on lately.
I am not sure about where the idea that 'my helpers die' when they're 'higher level beings' comes from, except for the 'recent' event of my mother's passing- the loss of her and my grandmother (practically one after the other) may have shook up my sense of security, except that the teachers in my dream were male, and older- so sure, the salt may have been symbolic of my trying to protect one 'up there' while doing something 'down here' but I'm not sure.
What I'm sure of is that the dream character that asked me the question was probably not a self aspect, because it served as a reminder, and I get an 'outward presence' impression from him- 'he' wanted me to remember this and work it out (which I haven't completely done, BTW.)
And I do welcome more input about this, as I have some ideas based on my personal life but they don't make much sense in my mind, anyway.

Hello, CF.
Remembering the gist of a dream is often tells you that you have gotten the message of the dream, so details are not necessarily important. At times I forget the whole dream but this simple message, and initially I was disappointed till Kurt explained to me that that was all I needed from the dream.
As for the teachers dying... It cannot be literal, as nobody dies in the higher planes.
Someone I know once had a dream where his teacher had died. Other symbolism in the dream suggested, indirectly, that this basically meant that the connection was lost for some reason - he had received a foggy crystal.
In this case it might be a possibility that not the teacher itself but the student-teacher relationship died instead. They might be, in a sense, no longer be helpful. (They certainly had no chance to be anymore in your dream.) What would the consequence of a teacher dying be? You have to look somewhere else for guidance. In a sense here you have exhausted the teachers/teachings available to you, but it's not quite clear where to find someone you can trust in. (Somebody who doesn't become "unhelpful" so quickly.) At least one possibility.
CFTraveler
11th July 2011, 04:25 PM
At some point in the last few days I entertained the idea that I had transcended the need for one and then the next and then the next teacher, but instead of deciding I didn't need guidance I had the feeling that (in the dream) this was designed by someone in the background (parts of the scenarios were closed and I kept sneaking through the 'veils' looking for who was responsible). I never found who was responsible for this, and every being I encountered there (other students) had no awareness that they were separated by departments, and only I was aware of this in my search for who it was.
This made me think that I was still guided in an indirect way by the act of searching for whoever might be responsible for this.
So I interpret this as the idea that the agent (my Higher Self, or something similar is still guiding me, but in a nondirect way (unlike talking to guides). Or something like that?

Beings that exist in discarnate states do not necessarily have the ability to move between subplanes of a larger plane. The school could be a hint to exploring the astral or the lower mental plane, for example. The feeling of "higher plane" might as well derive from being in a higher body. As a Ranger (conscious incarnate explorer) you may be able to pass between subplanes, and you experience yourself as passing between separations/veils that don't even seem to exist for Shades (for example discarnates inhabiting various levels of the astral and lower mental planes).
So, what you experienced could very well be your own representation to yourself of these observations Kurt made about the nature of the planes. It is also shared by Monroe, who as a Ranger visited those belief system territories and found people accepting them as their reality. The role of retrievals is to move people vertically between these domains to progress forward through the Afterlife. Monroe as a Ranger also experienced little limitation, and what you might see as departments he identified as rings. I think the ring model is mentioned in "Far Journeys." For Robert Bruce these departments/veils had intricate patterns on them as depicted by the original AD logo.
Guidance can arise in many forms and is not always visible for various reasons, including the developmental state of the energy body one is in. There is definitely the possibility of being guided by one's Higher Self, and this can take various forms - hunches, intuitions, guiding visions, but also the very surroundings you get drawn to when out of body. Other entities might play a role in this, in my belief they certainly do, but the highest aspects of who you are are also involved in the very process.

Last night I had a very disturbing dream that brought back a feeling I hadn't had in years- a feeling I had at a certain time of my life in which I felt unloved, unwanted and completely alone- you could say that I was 'loneliness' personified.
In this dream I was in the same mindspace/emotional place as I was then, and I was reinterpreting things that have happened in my life (and inventing things that didn't actually happen) to justify the way I felt- I was feeling alone and rejected, so I was reexperiencing happy moments in my life (past successes in my professional life, past relationships that ended because I was done with them, and other things that were the exact opposite of what I was now experiencing- as if I were rewriting history in a very negative way, in effect denying the happy moments I have had in my life.
This was very frightening because it felt like it was me, and not 'an aspect' of me- in other people's retrieval accounts, I have always interpreted their retrievals as objectified remains that are experienced as external to yourself, but this was not this- this was as if that part of me had remained in the same train as it was at that moment and as if my life had been different- and it was horrible, something I couldn't live with.
Most of the aspect retrieval techniques I have read about involve treating the aspect as an object you integrate with, while in my case it feels more like an attempt to take over my mind with false memories and very strong, very negative emotions, emotions that threaten to overtake my own, or so it feels like that.
So if anyone has any ideas about how to deal with it, I'm all ears.

It seems like you encountered the "negative editor." Memory doesn't exist in an unaltered state, I'd say, but there is a certain amount of editing going on - not so much of the memory itself, but the reaction we show when remembering it, the attached emotional energy that comes with it. You can see here how the editor works - the same events can appear in different light. In fact, these were memories you seemed to be sure of their positive nature.
In this sense, you can see how such an editor works. I wouldn't worry too much about the specific memories, I'd think they rather served as examples. The retelling of one's own life story is a powerful way to assert trends in the ego, which leads to suppression of memories that can challenge the story and editing of memories to suit the story, till finally the memories seem to mostly match up with the story one wants to tell about oneself - even to oneself!
The emotional state might you found yourself in might have been a clue to the core of such a negative editor within you that might still operate within you from that feeling. Maybe you can ask to release that feeling, especially in your dreams, and use this as a way to trickle the editor's energy up at the root.

Another dream with a similar (past association) theme- This time I had been hired at the company I used to work at (which is now owned by a different corporation, and prob. no one I know works there anymore). The whole place was different, and I was given "my old job", to be shared with another woman. She and I were doing some work, when we were called in the office. A man said to us that the company had to cut costs, so we would be given some tests to see which one of us would stay.
At first he gave us a bunch of paperwork to do and he seemed intent on intimidating us. In my head I was thinking about my old boss, who was great, and whom I got along wonderfully, and wondered how this tool could be doing his job.
Then he gives me a test, and he asks me to identify the fragrance in question 4-B. When I look at the paper I see that there are questions 1 to 5, but no number 4. So I point this out to him. He laughs and said it was a trick test. Then he tells me he was going to fingerprint us to see if we were wanted anywhere. At this point I have closed my eyes and can see through my eyelids, (in a meditative state). He then takes my fingers as if he were fingerprinting me, and at the same time I am being told he is trying to intimidate me. I then think that at this point I am not going to turn back, I've gone too far to give up.
I think I finish the test in this state- I answer all the questions and complete whatever I was doing, and then the phone rang and woke me up. I'm not sure if I was "done" but I have the feeling that this experience (which started out as a projection, but after exit symptoms I simply decided to go to sleep) was part two of the last one, with the childhood issue.

I find myself in someone else's house. There are a variety of people there, but the room I'm in is a girl's bedroom, and she is supposed to be a friend of my son's. (Not one I know in waking reality). I see perched in the door of a closet (on the outside, hanging) what I know (or am told is) a Tetragrammaton Robe. I wonder if I"m supposed to put it on. I then take it, and look at it, and start looking for the name that's supposed to be embroidered on it. I see that the robe is many colors and has many symbols- in all the alphabets and some symbols that I don't know.
At some point there are other people in the room, and a man that looked a lot like Dr. Oz. He is there, watching as I inspect the robe, and a girl enters the room. I assume it's her room, but she is as ignorant about the robe as any teenage girl would be, so I start explaining to them what the robe signifies.
I ask both of them to help me search for the hebrew name of God on the robe, and as we go over it, I see the Hebrew name of God, http://0.tqn.com/d/altreligion/1/0/2/i/2/syhvh.jpg
and I then see (Idk how, because I don't read Hebrew) that the other names of God are in it in pillar form towards the back center of it- E'he'ieh (or however it's spelled) Jehova Elohim, Jehova Eloha Da Vedas, Shaddai el Chai, and Adonai Ha Aretz. I then begin to explain to them that these are the names of God, that when told in order, speak of a beginning Universality and Unmanifestation, go into the Creation of the World (and as I go downwards, I explain about God being the Word, and then being Man, and I start to wake up around the legs down (to the part when I explain that Adonai is the most individualized and 'Old/Modern' interpretation of God, when the people are too afraid to say his name because they consider him a "Lord", and how it's evolved from nothingness to concreteness.
I then start to get my marbles back, and completely wake up after having explained this to them.
As I was speaking, I got the impression that the "Dr. Oz" type already knew all this and was pleased at my interpretation/teaching. Like he was training me to teach this stuff.
Ps. this interpretation of the Middle Pillar Exercise I didn't get from studying it, so I don't know how correct it is (I do know what some of the words mean but I haven't read enough about them to know anything, really.)-So the interpretation is either subconscious, or a guess.
I guess I have some research to do.

July 25, 2011-The night before last night:
I was having a conversation with a woman, and we were arguing. She was complaining about something, like making a few points, when, in the middle of the exposition she began to blink slowly and fell asleep without completing her argument. As she did this, I saw her transform slowly into a cat, that looked just like my deceased cat. As I observed I was thinking "just like a cat to lose her train of consciousness" or something of the sort.
July 26, Last night:
There was a a young couple with a baby. They were both black. They gave me her baby and said it was mine too. I was surprised, but it was expected. I took the baby which was sleeping and went to the kitchen to look for baby bottles, and found that the ones I had prepared the last time the baby was in my house were old and spoiled, and I couldn't find any formula in the house.
I was having all this anxiety because I was not prepared to care for this baby that was somehow mine at times, and I couldn't even find regular cow's milk in the refrigerator either. It really wasn't my house either, the people of the house were somewhere else and I was stuck at the house with a little baby and nothing to feed her. (It was a little girl) After much searching I finally asked the man of the house about milk or formula or something and he simply brought me to a garage which had another refrigerator with milk and clean bottles and everything I needed to feed and diaper this baby.
I woke up, kind of stressed out.

C.F. I probably don't have to tell you that babies may reference new projects and responsibilities and that you can often work out which one in particular the dream refers to by the baby's age. Since it's yours and belongs to others as well it may be a group project.

I had a very bad night in the sense that I kept waking up- at four, six, eight thirty and nine. It was a good night for dreaming because all those wakeups made me remember it. I say it because it was the same dream that I kept coming back to.
In it I was a teacher, and my apprentices were three witches. I had a small cottage that had an attic, a main floor and a basement. I taught them in the attic, and when the lesson was finished, I sent them to the garden to gather some ingredients (for lunch or a potion, I'm not sure- maybe both) and while I was cooking I received (like a rote) the information that one of them was there to learn from me, but she had her underlying motives, and they were not good.
I laughed to myself because I knew that because of this the 'misguided' one would be sent to a fool's errand- she would not find what she needed because she was not equipped to be able to use what she found for what she wanted.
As the girls were outside I woke up, got up and eventually came back to bed, and then I went back to the dream. In it I was told how this related to my life, I talked to beings that were explaining some things to me, and I asked for help to deal with some things that were bothering me. I woke up again, and stayed in a semiconscious state until I finally got up around 9:30. ATM I have forgotten most of the information given but I know it's in my memory, and it'll come back when I need it.

I am dating a man (I don't know this man IRL) and my father has allowed us to sleep together in his house (my house, although I'm not 'that' young). I find myself in bed with him and suddenly take a good look at him. I realize I really don't feel attracted to him and wonder how I'm going to get out of having sex with him, now that we're both in bed together and dad is 'out there'. I wake up trying to figure out how to get around this problem. I am so glad when I awake this is only a dream.
I go back to sleep.
Now I'm young, and am getting ready to go out on a date with (yet another) man. This man is very handsome (and I don't know him either). There is a lady helping me get ready, 'grooming' me. She is not my mother but is acting like one would be. There is one house in which my clothes are and another house that has the shower I'm going to take before getting dressed. The house with the shower belongs to another woman who has lent it to this lady to help me get ready.
I have all the clothes ready (I believe it's a green dress, sort of) so we sneak next door, where I actually take that shower. When I get out of the shower and am drying myself, getting ready to go to the house with the clothes, the man arrives. I see him in the window and am amazed at how good looking he is. He sees me and sneaks into the house, where we commence to make out. (Don't worry, this is PG). At the moment we're kissing, the lady who owns the house walks in and sees us (me half naked) in our embrace and we jump. I'm getting ready to try to explain to the lady of the house why we're in her house in the state we're in, when the lady friend of hers walks in and they embrace and chat amiably and I know I'm not in trouble. I then wake up and once again, wonder what that was all about.
ps. I don't know the ladies either. Everyone in both dreams (except my dad) is a dream character (or someone I don't remember, lol.

So I'm having a terrible night, waking up every two hours. At some point I get up and sit on the chair, not because of pain, but because of heat. I'm on fire.
I sit in the darkness and stare at a light in the other side of the house. Since I can't sleep I decide that instead of going to sleep I'll just stare at it open-eyed until I pass out. It worked, for two hours anyway.
I'm in a dream, in a party, when I begin to float. I go into the 'oh crap I'm floating' mode, which is a recurring theme. I see one woman (I think she's supposed to be a relative, but I can't remember who she is now) and I let her see me floating. She does not act shocked but doesn't want me to let anyone know what I can do.
We're somewhere when I all of a sudden start floating again, and this time I don't care who sees it. People stare at me and ask me how long I've been floating, and how do I do it. I explain (previous dream memory here) that I've always been able to do it but I always suppress it because I'm afraid to float away into space, so I try to remain under a roof.
Some people accuse me of being possessed, but there is a crucifix and I stare at it and float towards it, and it stays in place. (This is from dream memories I used to have as a child). This proves to them that this is not an 'evil' ability, it is just an ability.
Then I find myself in a very small box with a man who is also floating. I am in this box with him and my son. The man is asking me if I want to keep my ability. I tell him yes, but there is something going on with the lighting in the box. I don't like the look of my son's lips and he adjusts the light and now he looks normal. Then we get out of the box and there is something going on, a mob scene, with something alarming going on, something that I recall having dreamed before (I have to see if I've written about it before) and I don't remember how it ends.

Interesting...it links to another dream! Have you heard of dream cartography? Somewhat, and I've thought of doing it- however, it may prove to be cumbersome, because it would take a long time, but I think it'd be worth it- I have a lot of interlocking dreams and recurrent scapes.
Hmmm, sounds interesting.

I was dreaming about something to do with my (paternal) grandmother. I think I was in the house, but it merged into my maternal grandmother's (back of her) house. At some point in the dream, I have my eyes closed and can see things that I can't see with my eyes open- In the periphery I can see a small gray alien- he's about two or three feet tall, and doesn't interact with me- he's in the shadows looking around. He's actually kind of cute, like a pixellated cartoon character of an alien.
I try to look at him and lose the image, and I figure out I can only see him with my eyes closed. After a bit of this I do a few other things (I have forgotten most of them) and I woke up, realize I overslept, get up because I had things to do.
When I get up I see someone walk to my room, but making no noise. I follow this figure and find there's no one in my room, and check on the young'un, who is still asleep.
I decide I still wasn't awake yet, and was having walking hypnopomps. Or something.

I had a series of dreams which finished on the beginning of a recurring theme- my father.
In this dream he had come to tell me he was going to die soon. I asked him how come he was going to die for a second time, since he came back after being dead for two years. He looked confused and told me he didn't remember having died before, and I told him how it had been- he died, was gone for two (in waking reality three) years, and came back. No one asked him about it, but he was dead for quite a long time before coming back, and he didn't talk about it either. He said he didn't remember.
Then in the end of the dream, he turned into an old man and someone else told me that it wasn't 'really' him.
Now I was in some sort of a marketplace and I was looking at a list of people who were supposed to be in some sort of organization, or of some sort of privilege. I realized I knew some of these people, and my cousin was in the list too.
I decided to not join the organization because I could get the 'magazines' for free, since I knew so many of the participants.

I lay on the bed, and hear voices. I decide they're either self-aspects or spirits, I strain to listen to what they are saying, but have trouble hearing and understanding. I float off the bed and 'land' standing up (with my eyes closed) in the 'area' where my 'thoughts' would be, but I still don't understand.
I then 'really' get up off the bed, and walk towards the back of the house, where there is a bathroom that points to a laundry room. This seems 'wrong' to me and I decide to close the door so that the bathroom and laundry room somehow become different spaces (has to do with a window on the door) so I do this, and then I start walking towards the front of the house, which is now my house growing up. As I walk by my parent's bedroom I see a couple of old people there, no one I know, and the lady is holding open a jewelry box, and the man is standing besides her with a flashlight in his hand. (It's daytime). I see them and start screaming at them "what are you doing in my house?" and they look at me startledly, and I decide they must be burglars and I start to run out the front door and into the neighborhood. I make a beeline to the house where the people I still know live, and as I'm running towards their door, I start to fly up towards the top gable where there is a lot of greenery.
As I go into the greenery (it sort of pixellates as if I were going through it) it occurs to me that I am flying, and that this is a very weird way to travel, and I still don't realize I am dreaming, even as I wake up.

I was back at my grandfather's house. It had been gutted and was redone, we were living in it, but there were other people visiting it (as if it were a museum). [This is a recurring theme].
My husband told me he had redone the "game room" (we don't have one, just a game table in the back porch). When I walked in, it was a large industrial-looking room much like the packing plant that was part of my grandfather's farmhouse, and he had slapped some siding on it that didn't make it to the top and there were some couches and a new ping-pong table. Our 'usual' table was there, and possibly some game machines too. It was cool but cheap-looking, and not very well done.
Also, the original house had a basement and the first floor was wood, and in this dream he had removed the (now rotten) wood floor and the floor was now what used to be the basement, hence the very tall ceiling.
I was having trouble navigating the new 'look', but people were walking around touring the place, which was my house.
It didn't bother me having all of them doing it either, I kept reminiscing with some 'town elders' about my favorite parts of the house (which is true and has been expressed in dream previous times).
At some point I awoke very sad.

Two dreams I remember:
In the first one, I was in a house or room waiting to die, because it had been foretold (by me). Another woman (I suspect she was another version of me, she looked a bit like my avatar) came to the house and tried to convince me to get out of the house and I said that I'd prefer to die at home, not 'out there somewhere'. She then proceeded to eat an Alka-Seltzer tablet and started to gag and foam at the mouth. At this moment I Heimliched her and the tablet popped out. As I was Heimliching her I was thinking that perhaps this is what I had 'seen', and it was not my death, but her near/death. I was pondering this when I woke up as she started to come to. Nobody died and I woke up.
Second dream, before wakeup time:
We were on our way to some sort of outdoor activity. We were in some sort of camping place (with a lodge/dining room, similar to a summer camp). We were walking with some friends we know IRL and my friend S. asked me to go with her to the store to get groceries for dinner. As we walked in the store I noticed that there was only three items- turkey, some vegetables, and some liquid. I didn't want that, and I left the store without groceries.
As we got back to where everyone was, we were walking to a place where everyone was, and we were talking about what we were going to do first. I was hungry so we decided to go to the 'dining room' (more like a mess hall) and in the 'restaurant' all that was available was turkey, mashed potatoes and some kind of dessert. I then realized that it was what was in the grocery store.
We sat down to eat and watch some movie about how the ingredients were raised (like an agricultural video) and I was kind of angry because the rest of our group was sitting in a different room having a social time while we were somewhere else.
I woke up, kind of frustrated.

I was somewhere and was being left behind by my family. I ran to them and felt they were ignoring me. After we got home I started arguing with my husband and he didn't look at me or talk to me. My son also acted as if I weren't there at all. This went on for a long time in various places, to my increasing frustrations. I cried and screamed and no one acknowledged me.
As I was waking up I had the thought that I had died and that's why everyone acted as if I wasn't there- because I wasn't. This made me realize how it must be for people who die unexpectedly- they probably should be told by a family member.

Yes, I blame not feeling well for it.
Last night I had a series of dreams, which may or may not come back to me-
But somewhere in the middle of the night I awoke with astral sight (or remote viewing in the quality of etheric sight, a kind of grainy- night-vision quality sight) and I was watching everything crumble around me- an earthquake (I couldn't 'feel' it, like a vibration or shaking, but I could see everything around me shake and things topple down and kind of 'undo' themselves as they came down- and I was somewhere outside of a city or town that had buildings- sidewalks and buildings, and people running around- shaking and falling. I opened my eyes (it was dark) and some of it continued to go on (and fade), and then when I closed my eyes again, I could see and 'feel' (visually) it, and it slowly faded away. I thought of waking my husband, but thought better of it.

¡Hi, CF!
A similar dream had my mother (89 years old), yesterday, at about 3:00 A.M. (Argentinian time). This time is accurate since she got awake and cannot sleep again.
At dream events were: "She was looking through window of her house. She saw as all building collapse and at the same time ceilings (zinc made of) take flight as sequel of a strong wind (a detail what I forget to tell you when referring dream at that another forum). This events continues until horizon line becomes fully visible."
What a curious combination: earthquake plus strong wind.
My mother is not familiar with this thematics; that adds a bit of strangeness to dream.
Another (and repeated at least once more time) dream on catastrophic context was about 30 years ago: Skies were in fire, and people get shelter in caves at hills neigbouring city.
Sincerely,
Ángel

We were in a similar place to where I went to college the first time (University), only it's location was different. I went to a dining room and my husband and son said "Go, we'll be right here". I went inside, got something and when I came back out they were not there. I thought "I guess it must have been sarcasm" and went to the building where I had my first class.
It was a math class. I got through the class and went outside to the next class. I realized I didn't know where it was, so I asked people where the classroom was and they directed me to the building. I realized that this classroom was in another direction but in the same building, and I went in and took the class. So I get out of the class and head for the cafeteria to get a snack, and find disgusting roaches in the cafeteria. These were green, and I was told it was because the food they ate was very healthy, it was the cleanest healthiest cafeteria. I can't handle it and my appetite is ruined, so I head back to the next class, which I take (I remember taking notes, it was some sort of algebra).
When I get out of this one there is a beach in the north side of the school and I see people are surfing. I want to jump in and bodysurf (something which I used to do when young, but haven't in years). I went as far as putting my feet in the nice warm water (it felt delicious) but fought the urge to jump in, because I had one more class and had no other clothes to change back into.
I get back to the classroom, and this time I have learned that all my classes are in the same building (a Greco-Roman style) and I find my classroom. I went in and took the class, triumphantly. Then I woke up feeling quite self-satisfied.

... Or something like that.
We have come to some sort of training seminar. For some reason my son came with me. The dream begins on a beach, and Robert was sitting at the shore, talking to my son. I approached them and heard Robert teaching my son things about magic- things that I am now just beginning to dabble in. I am alarmed because I think my son is "too young" for such advanced work, and Robert and I have a conversation about it. He tells me my son is advanced and knows more than I know, and invites me to sit while he talks and chime in at any time. So I sit with them, with my feet in the water, and we hang out for a bit. It is very pleasant.
Then I'm in some sort of building, and the people who come to this forum are there. I don't recognize anyone physically, except one (I will keep his nic under wraps for now, because Idk if this was a symbolic dream or an astral visitation- it has all the earmarks of an astral collective experience). So I walk around and talk to various people, whose voices I recognize (?) but not their faces. I recognize one person although he wasn't talking to me. We chit chat a bit and I keep moving.
There is an ongoing series of games and activities and I'm told I need shoes to participate. I go to my room and find all the shoes are red, so I put on shoes that are acceptable for what we're doing (the types of games you see in company picnics or camp, such as sack jumping and relay races, etc.). I walk to the main area and see that everyone has been divided in teams and already started working, so I'm told to go to the area where the camp moderators are.
Now, the camp moderators are not the mods here, in fact there is none of the mods I know here in this group- they are somehow part of the camp infrastructure and are in charge of the place itself. They seem to know me but I don't know them. I hang out with them a bit and one of them (a guy) makes fun of my shoes (somehow it has turned into high heel shoes, which I can barely walk in, still red- in fact, everyone is wearing red tshirts and shoes except the 'moderators' which are wearing white t-shirts. The guy I was talking to chides me for "always being late for everything" (which btw, I'm not in the physical).
I look at the shoes that are around me and they all have high heels, and I realize someone has the ability to turn red sneakers into high heels magically, and they were just messing with me.
At some point I wake up.
Even though I kept missing almost everything in the dream, I enjoyed the dream itself and the place- like being on a relaxing vacation.
I also enjoyed the conversations with Robert a lot.

Hello, CF.
I think Robert here was a standin for a teacher over there. The scene sounds a lot like visiting an ashram, like the astral plane ashram on the highest subplane Kurt described recently. Which would fit in well with the theme of "Astral Dynamics". I would tend to think that your son, however, was himself real or the message about him. Given his set of life challenges it would not be surprising if he was an advanced soul. The magic again is a standin for energetic practices and transformations, probably, and not some specific practice. Magic would then be more of an umbrella term for energetic transformation or any higher knowing coveyed from teacher to student OOB.
The presence of moderators would probably mark their duty as facilitators serving visitors to the ashram. You relate them strongly to the place yourself. Games could be seen as playful simulations. You try yourself out in simulated contests to hone and develop skills like problem solving, cooperation and so on. By following their own rules games are always self-contained testing grounds like simulations are.
The astral ashram itself is not so much symbolic. However people represent it very differently. The presence of a teacher and staff is a hint, as is the notion of coming together of Rangers (like they do on AD), then AD and the word "astral" themselves are hints as is Robert Bruce himself with his work dedicated to astral projection. The beach demarks the borderland where the astral merges into the lower mental plane, and by submerging your feet in water you're getting some exposure to that without any exertion involved in it - just getting your feet wet. Camp and community can also be hints.
Cheers,
Oliver

I was at my son's school, at some sort of parent presentation. They were showing movies, and they were very enjoyable. At the end, I saw two teachers commenting that they had repealed the class size amendment and were going to restructure to overpopulate the classrooms once more. Then the teachers were discussing which bible teaching they were going to include in next week's lesson- Something out of Zacariah or Timothy. I offered to help with it. Then another teacher showed up with a rack that held bracelets, she was making them out of silver wire, some very pretty designs- I started to make some, and after a few clumsy-looking pieces, started getting them to look good. She then moved away, and another three or four people came in with more bracelets and started hanging them on empty racks. When the original teacher (the one I was helping) came back she was angry that she had no racks to hang hers, because apparently she had a deadline.
Then I woke up while the other teachers were trying to figure out how else to raise money for the school (that's what the bracelets were for).
This one is prob. psychological-processing, because my son just told me that the principal left because the school has run out of money. He has only one texbook for math, and science and social studies use handouts and the media for their information. So my subconscious was prob. cross-indexing and troubleshooting while I slept.

Last night:
I had gone hiking with my cousin M. when after a long evening of walking (it was a beautiful sunset while we walked) we went down a cave that was one of the places we used to like to go to (not IRL, this is strictly dream memory). We went down to some wonderful underground cities and spent a great deal of time there. There was a second layer underground, that I went to briefly, with interesting scapes in the rocks- it was breathtakingly beautiful but very difficult to go back up) so when it was time to get back she got distracted and went down yet another level, and I went back up, because I knew that there was a time limit in order to get back up safely. So I went back up by myself, and left her there.
When I got back to the (very gothic-looking house) one of my aunts asked me where she was, and I told her she stayed behind.
I can't remember if she eventually came back up, or not, but when I woke up I pondered on the significance of the 'underground' image.
Then I went back to sleep briefly (hit the snooze button) and went back into the dream, but I can't remember what it was about- I guess I was explaining to my aunt why I left her behind, and what I saw there. Or something like that.
ps. I've been to the first level of this realm once when I was younger and AP'd more frequently- I went in projection from my bedroom portal.

I wasn't even going to record this one because it was so trite- but I will, just to illustrate how sometimes the subconsious 'fills in the blanks'.
I was in the middle of a dream where I felt I had to go to the bathroom. I was holding a baby, and was maneuvering rough terrain, when I finally found a bathroom. As I approached it, I felt something attach to my leg, and I couldn't see my foot, because the baby was swaddled in large blankets and I had to balance myself while holding the baby so I couldn't see. I asked a dream character what it was and they said it was some sort of leech that was fastened to my right foot. I rose my leg and they confirmed it. (I was afraid it might be a squirrel, for some reason).
So I asked the dc to hold the baby so I could remove this thing from my leg and I woke up.
When I woke up I was holding my pillow sideways in the fetal position, but my arm was 'wedged' in there so I was sort of trapped in that position. On my right leg my girl cat was wrapped around my ankle, very firmly. I couldn't move at all and could feel her paws digging in the calf.
I looked like I had lost a fight against the cat.
And I had to pee. Bigtime.

It was a complicated dream because it went from first person to third person to observer observing the third person. On top of that, it was not chronologically in order, but it went back and forth in time. At some points I was telling a story, I was living it or I was watching it.
So roughly:
My son and I were walking in the large hallways of a huge ship. I was telling him the story of how we got there. I was showing him at times (like on a holodeck) and I was remembering at times as I told him where some things (like soldering irons and chickens, for example) came from originally, and also where humans came from.
We had come from somewhere else from very far away, and out ship was gigantic and bustling with people. At first it was self-sufficient with ecosystems and food and technology to sustain us as we continued on. We had animals not just for subsistence but also as friends and companions, and I was showing him (holographically) what the place where the companion animals were, and there were pet chickens (the brown kind with the big red faces, they were quite gorgeous) and other animals like cats and dogs. I showed him when I used to solder things (technology) and I also showed him how certain things worked, and at some point I showed him that where we were now living (in the ship, still) was only a tiny fraction of the space, because throughout the eons some people had died, we had run out of enough fuel and were no longer self-sufficient, not enough people had learned what they needed to continue, and even though where we were seemed large enough, it was nothing compared to how it had once been.
After I awoke I had the feeling this was a 'before humanity' moment, and not the opposite.

This morning I woke up early, propped myself up in pillows and went to sleep.
I was back in my old school (the graduate school, not the university) and I was visiting the dorms I stayed in when in dreams (not IRL, they don't let you in the dorms when in graduate school)- so it's a recurring place in a way. After doing whatever I was supposed to do there (which is not clear, I remember going in rooms talking to people and getting something, or fixing something) then I found myself in a different place, with a person I haven't had anything to do with in years. Our relationship is not friendly now, but in the dream I felt love for her, and she expressed love for me. There was a hospital setting, but we were there doing some sort of 'other job' and she gave me a name which ATM I don't remember.
I told my husband, who picked me up in a flying chair and we flew back home. During the flight I felt the usual fear of falling I have in nonlucid dreams and we landed safely, and on time too (3:30 pm).

Last night was very chaotic. I had a couple of small projections and wild dreams about spirits in the house. At one time the phone rang at three in the morning. I was also seeing things in the dark when I awoke. There was nothing specific, yet lots of activity all night long. I'm strangely energetic, should be exhausted.

After a night of traveling (I didn't post it on the OBE forum because I never landed anywhere, my cat kept jumping on my legs and waking me) So I slept most of the night. I woke up briefly, and went back to sleep in the morning, where I dreamed I was laying on a bed of snakes. It started with feeling like there was a snake on my face, when I 'opened my eyes' I could see one of these large corn snakes- a huge one partially obscuring my vision. I moved it and wondered why there was a snake in my bed; I then turned and saw there were many snakes, of all sizes and types, and the ones that worried me were the little ones, especially when I noticed some of them were the banded poisonous ones (coral snakes or water mocassins, I couldn't tell, they were so small) and the tiny rattlers made me nervous. Then my cats jumped on the bed and started attacking the snakes, who then bit me and I started to wonder if the rattlers or the w.m. bit me when I woke up, my kitty peacefully and innocently sleeping right besides my feet. So I got up.

Two dreams, both significant to things that have been happening with my practices.
The first one started as usual- I'm in the dream, when suddenly I'm swept off my feet by an invisible force, and the other dream characters say that I'm being attacked by a demon. I feel fear and try to see what is happening with this. Some sort of entity manifests and threatens with taking me with it. It is this demon made now visible. After some time with this feeling the demon transforms into a young man, who tells me that he is an aspect who died as a result of a hate crime, because he was gay in life. I feel bad for him and realize this is not a demon but a fearful aspect of myself, probably a past life.
I then had a second dream that also uncovered a past life issue. I have forgotten it because it was the one I was having in the morning when I woke up, and for some reason those I forget the most. I do remember having the feeling of having uncovered a great puzzle. Maybe it'll come back to me later in the day, as it sometimes happens.

I feel this was a projection, but because I didn't remember the exit it's going on here.
I woke up with the worst backache I have ever had- got up at 4:30 and stayed up until 5:30 trying to get comfortable, but didn't take anything for it- didn't want to be groggy all day today. I tried the recliner, energy work, energy raising, and nothing worked. Then I had this experience when I finally went back to bed and got into the fetal position.
I arrived at some sort of school. It wasn't the same as the other schools I've been to, this had less people, and it was more museum like. I am welcomed by around three people and laid on a platform. A woman starts to kiss me but it is not sexual- her mouth was open and she was giving me something, like air. At that moment I start to see what look like mandalas. As she is doing this I become excited and start shouting (at the same time, it must have been an overlay experience or a 'loud ROTE') that I am finally having hypnagogics again, and as I tell them this the mandalas get bigger and more complicated, and then resolve into some sort of round pattern, similar to the 'flower of life' motif but more complicated, and very colorful.
I am laying there with my mouth open staring at this thing and receiving whatever 'air' she is blowing into me.
I don't know how long this took but I have no memory of what happened next, although I think more stuff happened. I do remember having a subordinate position to these beings, and that they were dressed in white or light colored 'science fictiony' looking clothes, but except the woman that kissed me (or whatever that was) the others seemed very human. I don't know what she was.
And then the alarm woke me up, kind of.
My backache is gone, but it was horrible.

I don't know what she did, but the 'mandala' was rotating in different speeds as I was looking at it.
I haven't felt better physically, but my outlook is better. You can see it reflected in this one I had this morning:
I had gone to yet another version of my grandmother's/mother's house. This was a very large house with many rooms, and we were moving in (my family, but there were more of us than my actual biological family, or we were different somehow.) The house was already decorated in a very pleasing way but someone had added some things to it.
I decided to take one room and somehow found myself in my underwear and very cold, and I realized I had not brought my own stuff in yet, and got confused trying to get to the exit, because it was in the middle of a very large section of bedrooms.
As I was looking for the exit I saw a large room with old-fashioned library bookcases (the kind that come with a desk) and I looked and said "oh, we have a library" with a fake english accent. Then I thought my books would go nicely in it and woke up.
I got up, did some stuff and went back to bed, and propped myself up with pillows, and went out fairly quickly again, and started to dream the following:
I was in a room with my husband's deceased grandmother. There was a large mirror in it, and when we went inside we could see in the mirror behind our reflection, a group of monks in saffron robes, and some people dressed in regular clothes.
She and I both had the robes on in the reflection (but not in the room) and we were both trying to figure out what this meant, when all of a sudden, in the mirror this man in a black suit and a thin cheesy mustache appeared and declared he was the devil and was going to crush us, and started manifesting some force coming at us. She started to freak out and a voice behind me (possibly hers) said "it's too much for you" and I said "I don't have to be the one to fight him, the trick is to let God work through me" and then I invoked God's power and felt this force behind me, like a funnel, enter me and pushed through me at the man, and then there was this huge flash, and suddenly I was alone in the room and there was no mirror.
Then I was alone in the room getting ready to explain to someone what had happened, and my mother walked in and asked, and I started to tell her what happened. Then she made a scared face and I told her how I took care of the problem.
Then I started to wake up, and wanted to go back into this but stayed on my bed in the 'in between' state for a long time, and finally got up.

If anyone has been reading my journal (for years, lol) they'll know that I've had a recurring theme of going to the beach and not being able to go swimming in it.
I'm not sure if this has any significance, but I had a really wonderful 'breakthrough' in this theme.
I go to the beach with my peeps as usual, and they all go in (as usual) and then I jump in and swim to the point that I pass everyone else and somehow I'm higher (as if the water went up like a mountain) than everyone and further out. I can see the 'house' from the water, and a wave comes in, so I ride this wave on my feet (no board, just feet) and go in between these large boulders that flank the beach, and I ride it all the way to the shore right in front of the house.
I miraculously land on my feet (I was worried about the landing when I was riding towards the shore) and see my grandmother, younger than I've ever seen her (but still recognizable, she has that familiar twinkle in her eye) sitting in a bar on the outside of the house (the bar was something like an open window on the outside of the house with a counter where the sill would be, the inside has a kitchen, and people are also inside.
I say hi to her and ask her where everyone is, and she tells me everyone's inside. The house is lit up and it's night outside. My mom is somewhere in there too, but I can't place where she was.
Even though I went in the water in the daytime, by the time I rode in it was nighttime, but all lit up.
It was awesome. I woke up in a great mood.

So tonight I decided to take my doubts about a certain dualistic philosophy with my personal 'light being', if there is such a being. I asked mine to show me an example of that which I am instinctively rejecting (and if you are not sure what I'm talking about take a look at Dolores Cannon's video in the forums) and of which I have discussed elsewhere. Kind of a "prove it" kind of thing- and to my chagrin, I had a dream, early in the morning of me being someone else, complete with life story.
So now I'm not sure if this was an answer, or if I created this experience, 'cause I can.
I also heard a voice at the end, in the hypnopomp state, which said "and now it's going to be a cat fight". The voice was female and I was getting a visual of a female, (or rather, feet in pumps), and a second later, feet on the floor.
Very literal, if you ask me.

This is interesting, CF. Like you, I love the idea of direct knowledge but it's hard to trust sometimes. Maybe you could ask for some synchronistic elaboration. It's very hard to not believe in anything but sometimes I question whether we can know anything of a non-physical nature to be true. It certainly bothers me that we might be making choices based on misinformation, especially when those choices kerb our freedom.

False awakening, or something like it.
Got up, propped myself up in pillows, because I was hot. Started to dream I was in some mansion and was living in someone else's script, with butlers and a copy of my family. I tried to get up but couldn't, possibly due to feedback from my own body. I tried desperately to break paralysis, because I knew this wasn't my reality and wanted out. I fought and fought, and finally let myself drift, and could see my son in another room doing something alarming to a toy. I then woke up in the same position, and was able to break paralysis then.
I also heard a voice who spoke of something that needed to break, but I lost it, as it took me forever to get up from bed.

This one is from three or four days ago- I'm in a mall, and I see a man shoplifting something. He tells me he does it for the thrill of it. I see him going from store to store stealing things, and I don't approve. At some point I decide to do the same, so I go into a small shop that has some costume jewelry, and steal a necklace, and put it in my bag. I walk out of the store, and am immediately sorry I did this, because it's not like me. Now the mall is closing and I have to find a way out without getting caught. I decide to dispose of it before I leave, but I can't seem to find a place to do it without being seen. I then eventually find a place that seems deserted enough and approach the bin. I then see the man who had been stealing things reach into his coat pocket and remove all the items he had stolen, and put them there, and then walk away. I then realize he was not doing it to steal things, but for the thrill, and didn't actually take them. I quietly and surreptitiously approach the bin and discard this little box, and when I go to leave I realize the doors have been closed and I need to find another way out. Then a lot of time is spent walking around in the dark, and I wake up before being able to leave.
A few days ago there was also something about me stealing something else. I remember thinking "another stealing dream" when I awoke but not the details.
This morning it was about some TV characters, one of them the character of Leonard (I've forgotten the actor's name already) and another actor too (either from another show or from the cinema), but I can't remember what it was about either.

In this one (early am) I was in a 'camp' environment, and I was being led by a woman that was teaching me what seemed to be spy stuff. I have the impression that I had gotten a clerical job, and for some reason was given 'field instructions'. I also think I was not doing well in this training, as there were two minds in me- the mind of 'me' in the dream, that clearly was not getting what this was about- and as the director was giving me instructions in observation and hiding certain things, 'dream' me was not getting the underlying meaning of what my job really was- which was either intelligence gathering or surveillance.
'Me' me of course, knew what was going on, and was wondering what was going to happen.
At some point, I caught wind of her reporting to someone else that I wasn't doing well, and at some point they decided to kill me. I think it's because at some point I had learned too much but was not valuable enough to be used effectively.
Now 'me' me understood what was going on as it was happening, and also realized they were going to kill me, so as they were directing me to a somewhat secluded place (now in what resembled a public park or camp) I made 'dream' me elude them by ducking into a corner (not where they were taking me) and starting to run away. Now 'me' me was in charge and scanning the area, trying to find a way to escape, and running like I've never run before.
In the time where I started to realize something was up, I was trying to figure out how to take my high heel (uncomfortable pointy shoes) off without them getting suspicious) and at this point a gun came out and one of the men that was with my trainer shot her. At this point I started running with my shoes on and ran for a very long time as my feet ached, and I'm not sure if I ever took the shoes off.
As I was running I remember seeing some military men beating a small boy in a different scene. These looked hispanic, and the boy was dark-skinned. I'm not sure if this was part of the previous scene or another dream as I was waking up.
I have come to the possible conclusion that this is a past life. This is because when I was a very young child I used to have recurring dreams of being a grown woman, running in what looks like a huge pipe (sewer?). I had this dream many times and it didn't seem to end. I think I may have been killed in this chase.
I wonder if today's dream is the first part of this- more "history". Another reason why I think this may be a past life (or the latest one, depending on how many I've had) is because lately I've been doubting the reincarnational theories, given that in regressions I always come up empty. I sort of decided it was not true, and then had this dream. :-)
Of course, it still could be my subconscious expressing my general fears regarding the political environment of late, too.

When I've spontaneously recalled past lives they've had a completely differently quality to a normal dream. Would you say this is how the dream felt for you?
CFTraveler

It's different than other dreams but not unlike dreams that I've had in which I get the feeling I've possessed someone else- that kind of quality. So right now I'm not sure, but reincarnation seems the most 'logical' explanation (not 'logical', but explainable within metaphysical theory.) But with me, you never know. :wacky1:
Last night in the middle of the night I had long discussions with someone about a variety of things that of course, I've forgotten. Later on they were more structured lessons, but in the beginning of the 'sessions' I was doing most of the talking.
If I remember more I'll come back to this.

Back in this camplike environment- the past few dreams seem to be taking place there. This time there were many people I know, some from my old church and some from spiritual forums and such. We were all in different places but "were called" to go to the seashore to where the Sun was. We were going to receive some sort of basking experience. So many of us started walking, some running towards the shore. On the way there I remembered flying, so I took off successfully. Some others also took flight, maybe four of five of us amongst twenty people or so. When we got there we were told we should take our clothes off to feel the sun's rays, so I started doing this, and some said that the order had been rescinded, but some people stayed naked, I did. I figured since i was in the sky anyway, no one was going to control me. And the feeling was glorious.
Then we flew back and I woke up. It was a beautiful scape, the sun in the dawn time, with all the colors.

There was a warehouse and a space with a car in it. I worked on the car on the mechanical level, until whatever needed to be done with it was done. I left the scene and then had to come back to it. I was supposed to live whatever the victim of whatever crime had to do with this car went through. I did, and was done. Then I came back, and at the last part of the experience I was told that I wasn't done, because I was the car, and I was the victim of whatever the crime involving the car was, but I hadn't yet been the criminal that did the crime, that I was supposed to 'get into the mind of the criminal' or something like that. Then I woke up.

I 'wake up' in a helicopter or a similar flying vehicle. Then I go through hours of what seems like grueling torture. I have lost the nature of the torture, but I think it was mental torture combined with exhausting work, or something- like my mind got a workout. After many hours of this I couldn't take it anymore.
Then I am taken somewhere where I am told a few things. Here is the list of things I remember being told/explained
1-This is the last time we (me and others) will be abducted. 'They' are done.
2-What they have done is tampered with us, but it is not clear exactly what they did. But basically the process is to take us unconsciously, to wake us up, to make us experience this series of things that seem almost too much, and then they make us unconscious again and put us back. They need us to be conscious for what they do, or it won't work, but they don't mean to hurt us. I am not sure if there was physical pain, but I have the vague feeling there was, and there was a reason for it.
3-They are done. From now on, any 'alien abduction' scenario anyone talks about is self-generated or a lie. They were apparently done last night. Apparently there was a deadline and it was this morning. That's why last night was so grueling- all the 'training' had to be crammed in prior to this morning.
4-I was allowed to stay awake longer so I would remember this-so I could record it.
I woke up, kind of tired, was amazed it was only 6:30, and went back to sleep.
Then I dreamed I was in some sort of encampment in some sort of restricted environment (in the dream, it was a Latter Day encampment, and they were not allowed to use any kind of modern technology. Until I went to the 'gift shop', where they took my credit card.
I went back 'home' (to a Jetson's type of house) where my husband wanted me to go back and haggle with the man in the store, who had also made an advance at me when I was trying to pay.
There was something else with my son which is a recurring theme which will stay personal.

I had a hard time sleeping due to some pain in my arm. Because of this I awoke many times last night. I don't remember most of the early dreams, except that they were 'normal' processing type dreams, or repetition of ongoing themes.
In around fourish I had this 'strange' one: We (me and another group of people, my hubby and my son) were in some sort of scape. Don't remember the details. We were told that for the next two hours reality would cease to exist, that there would be nothing at all- nothing would exist. We were tasked with destroying anything that manifested at all, and were given sticks (like baseball bats) and for the next 'two hours' we were suspended in a sort of grey nothingness, waiting to see if anything appeared. I don't remember seeing anything, and soon woke up again, rearranged myself again, and went to sleep, back to 'normal' dreams.

So I was living in some sort of a group home, with my daughter (I don't have a daughter) and I was pregnant. I went into labor and had a baby boy. In a few hours he grew to about the size of a six year old. While I was caring for my newborn son (breastfeeding and changing diapers) I saw one of the ladies in the group hit my daughter. I 'fired' her- threw her out of the house.
Then I was walking down the street with my son and daughter, when the ground began to rumble. It was an earthquake. I ran to a protected place and when it was over I went into a building holding both children in my arms. (They were big). There were people in the building, and they were fearful of the people that lived in one apartment- the people that lived there were some sort of 'mob boss' situation- in charge of the place. I immediately had my children get food (like a ham and a chicken or something like that) and we went to the people in that apt. and knocked on their door.
The woman that answered the door was about my age and the wife of the man in charge (that everyone was afraid of). I had my children offer the gifts, and the woman smiled and invited us in. The man asked us to live with them (this was my intention, to get the protection of the 'boss' of the place, and take my place as some sort of co-wife). The woman was overjoyed we were there (the man was out of sight, but welcomed and accepted us as part of his family)-because she had no children (or maybe couldn't have any) and they showed us how many pets (kitties and small dogs) they had for my children to play with.
This was a kind-of nonlucid dream, except for the curiosity that I knew who I am now, but remembered my present life as something that happened a long time ago, in a forgotten time.
Then I woke up.

This dream sort of happened for hours and hours, or so it seems.
First, I was in some sort of "New Age" shop where you could buy and sell magical things. I took a statue I made when younger, and was painting it golden and making some sort of scape with it, and changing the top (putting a crown or some other type of headdress on it) when a glass I was holding broke (it was very thin, almost like a membrane). When this happened, broken glass began to come out of my mouth. It didn't hurt (didn't cut me) and the pieces were kind of beautiful (like crystals, but sharper) but it was concerning.
I brought the figure to the shop people and they put it on a counter, and immediately my mouth started to pour broken glass again. I kind of vomited glass for a bit and then went back home.
This went on for a while, every time I spoke or opened my mouth the glass would come out, for what seems to be hours.

Today when I meditated last night's dream came back to me. Here it is:
I was visiting an old friend I hadn't seen in a very long time. He was showing me his new house. It was a very peculiar house, which had three bodies of water. In one side it had a 'regular' concrete pool, and in the other side it had a canal that looked like it was swampy-brackish, and in the middle it was the interior of the house that had an inside patio that had a shallow pool full of reptiles.
I was with him in front of the concrete pool, and outside next to it there was a monitor that showed the water on the other side of the house, so you could see both sides of the house from there. We then went inside the house and the dining room table was just next to the patio/pit, divided by a group of large glass jalousy windows that were open a crack. When I look at the pit I see many giant snakes, that look like mythological creatures (the body of a snake but the face of some sort of gargoyle, or like a chinese dragon- something 'other'). Then when I looked closer I realized that they were not snakes, that the snake bodies were hollow (like hollowed-out frames) and inside the 'snakes' were something that resembled komodo dragons, something huge and repulsive and horrible. The heads were also different than a regular lizard/dragon- the faces were something like a lion's head or a gargoyle (there were various kinds) but always the head was different than the creatures' bodies themselves. So I am very afraid of those creatures and I attempt to close the window completely and start turning the crank- but instead of closing the window it opened more, and (or course!) one of them jumped and landed on my lap- a big fat giant lizard creature with a grinning gargoyle/dragon face. I lose my cool and start to scream and my friend (the creature's owner) comes in and says that the creature never sits on people's laps, that he likes me and that he's harmless.
So I sit there in quiet terror and wait for the creature to go away.
Then I am suddenly in the other side of the house (like teleported) and I walk around the 'pier/walk' by the water, and am alarmed to see that there are people swimming in the water that I had judged to be murky/brackish, and I discover that it is my sister in law and her two kids snorkeling in it. I tell her to get out of that dark water and she says it's fine, they're having a good time.
Then I wake up, earlier than the alarm.

There was a sense of living my whole life backwards, and as I awoke I was back in the home I grew up in, and I was not happy about it, the whole 'reliving your life' theme.
I then went back to sleep (or tried to) and got hypnagogics of me getting really outrageous credit card bills, and the knowledge that all the credit card bills' minimum payment was almost (if not all) the total amount of the debt, and I was trying to figure out how could this be. This woke me up before the alarm did, and I couldn't steal another hypnopomp, and I ended up getting up early.

All of a sudden I walked to the kitchen and noticed that in areas the floor was soggy, as if there had been a flood. My feet squished at a red carpet. I immediately knew that someone in the dorm had sabotaged my area and flooded it. I'm not sure if it was an attempt to do me harm or just a prank. But we fixed the problem, in some way.
Two: I am walking down a dirt road, and I am having some dealing with whoever flooded my dorm. Some stuff happened (that I have forgotten and I went through some shortcuts and got to a dry and verdant part of the woods that were alongside this dirt road. My friends (about three men) were telling me that the traps this other person (whoever flooded my dorm) set were going to turn around to her. I sat in the circle with them, and in front of me was a flower. Somehow something (a stone?) had turned into a flower or a gemstone of some kind and I liked it and was happy.
Then I woke up, about half an hour before I usually wake up. I tried to go back to sleep but just lay there watching brief hypnagogics (textures and lines that disappeared when I paid attention to them) and finally got up.

I'm walking into a warehouse, having just received a text from a person I helped (not sure how, but she was thanking me). I was going into this pier/warehouse to find something when her employers started coming in, and I wondered if they knew I was supposed to be there (sent to get something, I think). I looked out a side window and I realized this warehouse was on a seashore, and I turned to talk to the people that came in and said something like "I didn't know you were on the beach, how beautiful". As I did the water from the beach came in the bottom (the warehouse had no floor except the sand, like a pier with walls) and I woke up.
I felt weird because I was there for a good reason and legitimately but didn't have 'real' permission to be there, i.e. I don't think the owners or people in charge knew I had been sent there.
The dream started dark (at night, into a warehouse) but lightened as I walked into the area and I then could see the beautiful sea.
I woke up feeling good about it.

I had decided to go back to church, and went to a catholic church, didn't like it, and went to a baptist church. Now, I've been to a baptist church a couple of times (back when I was looking for something different) and we ended up in one that wasn't typical. We sat in the floor while the minister gave his sermon. All of a sudden he walks where I'm sitting and kind of gets all over me and almost sits on my lap. I'm very uncomfortable with this and he gets very personal and starts grabbing my hand and touching me. I tell my husband we need to get out of here I don't like this, and we get up to leave, when two women tell me that the minister wants to show me something, and don't want to let us go. They show me a picture of myself sitting in the cushion, and tell me that my aura is special and there's a symbol over my head- I look at the picture and don't see anything special, except that it creeps me out that they have hidden cameras and are taking pics of the people there.
We get up and walk away, and I remember leaving but not the transition into the next dream.
Dream two: I have been abducted, me and my 'sister' (not my real sister, a young girl) and we are in what looks like a dojo run by some men. There are many people in this dojo and the people in charge are telling us we have been chosen and whoever passes the tests will be spared, whoever doesn't will be killed. I immediately fear for my sister so I volunteer to go first, and am given sort of lame tasks to do which are simple, not really difficult. I think I had to fight someone but don't remember doing so, just sitting around talking. A lot of time passes and I see people of different ages and realize that the 'pass or die' thing must have been a lie, possibly to frighten the people there (don't know why, since I assumed everyone else was taken there, but whatever) and as I realize we're not in any danger the dream ends and I transition into the next dream, right before waking:
I'm in the same place as before my first dream, and I'm talking with two other friends, who are old friends from high school, and they tell me they have been working with electrophoresis, and I am very angry with them, because they have turned this into a weapon, and I am angry and disappointed that they, who used to be nice guys, would be weaponizing this, working towards evil ends.
I wake up, realizing even though I have heard the word before, I don't think I know what it means, but I'm pretty sure it isn't what it was in the dream, so I have to look it up.

Somehow there seem to be aspects of nonphysical reality that seem to freak you out. The topic of privacy seems to recur, like in the sauna dream. There's no privacy in nonphysical reality - like the touch and the closeness make you nervous precisely because you know this. The idea that vibrational touch and (later on) the mind merge are in essence intimate experiences seems to be very challenging for you, the same goes for "the hidden cameras" - to a higher being, there's no secrets.
Kurt also related that any simulation requires a level of mind control to establish and maintain the state of consciousness you are in when doing it. These are not harmful, but you seem to resent this limitation of your freedom of movement and choice so much, it inevitably leads to identifying it as abduction and also the messages seem to get mangled and distorted. The dojo could be a hint that a simulation is going on, as are the tasks, but somehow the whole setup triggers your "fight or flight" (fight or die) response.

Two this morning- I haven't gotten back the first one yet, but the second one goes like this:
I was in the college I go to in my dreams, and I was having dual consciousness- at first I was watching this man coming back to the college after graduation and retaking classes. I flashed between watching him and being him. While I was him I realized I didn't have to keep coming to classes I already had taken, and graduated. Then I would flash back to observer (or rather, observer with another role entirely) and I was living in an apartment and eating the same food every day- I then decided to throw out the food I had (it was linguini with shrimp) and go to the cafeteria to get out of the apt. and get some fresh air and food. The dream faded as I threw out the shrimp- they were a lot of shrimp, and I was amazed at how big they are. Seemed like a waste, but I had been eating off of it for days now.
Later there was something else as I awoke.... will have to see if that one comes back too.

Woke up many times last night, I did not feel well, had some asthma and was hot- and one of the times I had projection sensations (movement) but I coughed, and then later I couldn't make the effort to stay with it because I was too tired to try to focus.
In the first dream I was at a monastery, and was going through some lesson (more like a workshop) in which my body was covered in rashes and I was so fat I could barely move. When I woke up one morning I found I was in another body. I was an african-american girl, young (like late teens or early twenties). I was very thin and strong and beautiful. I was very happy and was doing all kinds of tasks and at some point I asked the monks/brothers to go back to my body. All the people that were in my group initially were leaving and I didn't want to be left behind. The brother I talked to told me I had left that body behind, and I remember wondering how my people (my family, etc.) were going to recognize me and how they would treat me now that I was black. I then started to leave and woke up.
Again.
Went back to sleep and had another dream.
We (my husband, son and some sort of school group) were in some sort of field trip to somewhere up north, like Sweden or Scandinavia. We had gotten in a ski lift in two groups- When I got to the top it was in a closed lodge that looked a little like a fake Christmas village (but large) and there was a lot of snow inside. When I first looked at it I thought my son would love it, but when I touched it it wasn't cold, and I realized it was fake snow. Then I sat to wait for them to arrive, and I woke up before they did.

So I'm dreaming that we're living in this house (that is not 'our' house) and we're just minding our own business, when a whole bunch of people come in the house.
It is a very large extended family, and two of the men come in holding another man. There are women, grandmothers, aunts, mothers, and children along with them. Some of their kids are about my son's age, while others were younger. The scary men tell the kids to go outside with my son, to see his video game or something 'innocent' like that. We know they don't want the kids to see what's going to happen.
They tell us that if we cooperate no one will be hurt, so we comply.
The men take the man into the kitchen and the women stay with me. I hear the man screaming as he gets tortured or something horrible. I can hear the men screaming in anger at him about his betrayal, and he screams and cries that he will never do that again, that he is loyal.
I am terrified for my son but am constantly reassured by the women that he is safe, the kids are as innocent as he is and they are outside so they don't see this side of this family. They attempt to chat with me and I chat with them, always nervous. My husband is there with us but he doesn't talk much.
Finally the men come out, and the tortured man looks as if he hasn't been killed or maimed- he looks as if he got a beating, and he smiles and I see he had a tooth pulled, probably when he was screaming.
Now they are all smiling and being congenial to each other, and patting the tortured man in the back, as if it wasn't a big thing.
Then the kids come in and my son is ok, not knowing what was going on there, and they leave.
I wake up a bit perplexed.
I go to sleep for a little while and dream something similar but without the fear, just the feeling of not knowing what that was all about.

I was working for my former boss (the good one) and he was telling me to repair a piece of equipment. I immediately found the problem and changed the part. I then wondered if I was supposed to shield the part (it was a heatsinked transistor, if anyone wanted to know) before attaching it to the metal frame of the piece before turning it on. I was holding it (connected, but not attached) and I decided to look at another piece to see if I had to isolate it, and when I stood up to look, my arm moved a little and the transistor touched the metal harness- and for some reason the switch was on, and I began to be electrocuted.
At this moment my boss walked in, and as I was trying to turn the switch to off without letting go of the transistor, because I was afraid the whole thing was going to explode (smoke was coming out of the piece)- I couldn't press, because the electricity was pulling my hand back. Finally, my boss turned the switch off, and while I was worried about the fact that I had probably blown up what was probably an expensive piece of equipment, he was more worried about my health.
Once I was composed and the fire was out, he told me not to worry, nothing was damaged, and I should go get something to drink, then go to the parts dept. and come back with a new transistor to see if the other one got damaged. I was pleasantly surprised I wasn't in trouble, and headed off to the kitchen to get a drink, and on the way there was a lady in what looked like an open dutch door and she was on the other side of it, and she appeared to be cooking. She then asked me about a recipe she was making that came with a prepackaged spice mix (like a lipton soup or some other thing like that) and I advised here that when I used those spice packets I usually use half of the packet and cook and taste it, because they are mostly salt and preservatives, and use my own spices.
I then walked to the fridge and woke up.
I closed my eyes (it was still early and it's Sat.) and started to move through a starry field, and as I floated through it (it was like the beginning of phasing) I heard a female voice, which started talking to me about healing on the inside and wreaking havoc on the outside. We were going through colorful nebulae and I could see a very specific constellation ahead- and I asked her to clarify, and she said some things that I have mostly forgotten, and I slowly woke up.

Interesting, C.F. I imagine you may have been doing some self-healing. You need to explain that to me...
Anyway, today I had an 'existential angst' type of dream, in which I remembered (or relived) parts of my life where I felt trapped, and when I realized that my parents are dead, I felt such loss and pain that I realized that we spend much of our youth feeling resentful at the rules and emotional turmoil that we feel from being protected or responsible, and then, when we are 'freed' from them we realize that it's what life is for, loving someone (and worrying about them) and being loved and protected (and resenting it)- if we didn't need this we wouldn't come here in the first place.
This realization was part of the dream, and I woke up feeling a lot of emotional pain, but glad to have had some of the experiences I have in the past.
I suppose this was an astral body thing that came up.
Cheers.

A guide taking the form of your boss because he's in the position of leadership, leading you through some form of self-repair? A self-aspect guiding you through an occurrence in your own world?

Electrocution may be re-entry sensations at one level being interpreted at another. Shielding could reference self-protection of some nature and "heatsink" is very close to "heartsink", don't you think? I wonder what you considering isolating one piece might be about? If a transistor amplifies, have you gotten the opposite effect to what you intended by that approach? (I ask because I know nothing at all about electronics and I'm trying to understand how this might work as metaphor/symbol).
I could keep attempting this but I'd probably be barking up the wrong tree and I think if you get the gist of my suggestion and that goes somewhere, you'd do a better job interpreting the rest.

I think you were working on your energy body. A transistor is about regulating energy flow, it could for example be any tertiary energy center. It could have been a minor mistake when trying to learn to get the details of a more subtle energy work right.
The funny thing is that he told you to get something to drink. His reaction to getting something to do with the circuitry is to do something that rebalances your body chemistry. This could be another hint you were working on your own energy system.

Today, a dream within a dream- I go to a mall with my son, and suddenly wake up in a hotel room, both he and I are there in a sort of luxurious suite. I look in the mirror and am surprised to see my face- it is covered by a poxy rash or little dots, and my whole body too, and I look like an eighty-year old woman- it's very alarming and I look around.
I try to remember what happened last night, how we ended up there, and I have lingering memories of being on a beach, and chinese people, and now we're in this place. I pick up the phone to call my husband, and I get a woman answering the phone (I hadn't dialed yet) and she tells me, in very broken and accented english, that I cannot dial out, that she has to do it for me. So I tell her my phone number and she tells me it is busy. I find this strange and I pick up the phone again and she's already there.
I hang up the phone, and my son comes in holding a cellphone, and talking loudly- saying why don't you call him on this one? And I shush him and tell him to come quietly so we can call for help, since I suddenly feel we're there as prisoners, and I struggle to try to remember how we ended up there, where we are and how we can escape.
Then the dream ends and I had a few attempts at a conversation with a male voice who didn't answer my "who are you" questions, and I woke up too much, so I got up.

I heard a voice that surprised me with a startling political statement or prediction. "RWon'tR". I'm not writing it verbatim because I don't want to talk politics, and it doesn't reflect what I think is going to happen. I'm simply writing it to look back and see if this voice was correct.
Then I dreamed I was back in college, and was stranded there. Someone had taken my cellphone and the kids had been alone all weekend, and I couldn't call or get back to find out how they were, or to let them know what happened.
Then an older lady appeared and I asked if I could use her phone. She was reluctant, and I told her I'd call collect, and explained my situation. She then told me ok and handed me the phone, and then one of the other students might be able to give me a ride back home. I then woke up.
I asked again, and got three more things that were unexpected, one made me nervous, and one sounded good.

A series of dreams, this one was somewhere in the middle of the night-
I was in some sort of house that had a lot of people in it. They (we) were engaged in painting silhouettes all around, and I realized that many of the silhouettes were of various beings, some horned. I immediately became 'dream lucid' that is, knew this was some sort of test, but not necessarily that I was dreaming- more like awareness of being 'not in my physical life'. I also realized that if one of those devils we were painting came alive I better know how to defeat it, and then I decided that since I was not afraid it was ok to keep painting it. So I did and I transitioned to some other dream that I have forgotten.

I had this one about three days ago, (March 27) and hadn't time to write it up 'til now.
We (my son and I) had gone to a museum, and the exit was a hatch-type thing you jumped into. I decided to test it before I let my son use it, to make sure it was safe. When I went through, I dropped through a ceiling hole and landed on a conveyor belt, which took me to a small hall in which I was supposed to pay to get out. When I collected myself I decided this decidedly was not safe and I looked for my rather large handbag, and found that I had lost it somewhere in transit (I was sure it was during the jump) so I told the people I had to go back upstairs because my son and bag were upstairs. They firmly said no, they would send someone upstairs to collect my purse and my son, and I told them that the hatch was not safe, that he needed to take the elevator down. They looked at me like I was a fool.
I sat in the room for a while, and began to get impatient. Shortly a lady came down with my son, but no purse. We were not allowed to leave without paying, and I had no phone to call for help. I then saw another purse that was identical to mine except for the color (it was brown, mine is black) and went to get it, when I realized it was not mine. Then one of the employees took it and said it was hers.
I then asked someone to call my husband as everyone was now leaving, and I knew my purse was somewhere upstairs, although the lady told me they had searched and searched and didn't find it. Then I realized that someone must have stolen it, and told the woman. She then told me I had to leave, and were shown the door, where we now were outside without a phone, and it was nighttime.
My husband shortly arrived (apparently they either called him or he wondered where we were at this time of night) and picked us up. I was angry that I now had to call the police to report the theft, and to cancel my credit cards (and all that hassle). I then woke up, not happy.

I dreamed I was given some jewels to take care of by a woman, and it had been years. I was sleeping in this huge bed, and was woken by her demanding her stuff back. It had been so many years that I didn't remember what I had done with the stuff. I started tossing the whole room, emptying closets and going through all my drawers. After I gave her stuff that was mine (junky stuff) I found in the back of the closet, a jewelry box with dust on it- I had carefully put it away and it was intact and untouched, forgotten by me. I then gave it back and she went away, giving the impression it was not that important.
Then I went back to bed and fell asleep.
Now I am dreaming that I am surfing on the ocean, surfing and flying and surfing, literally joy unbounded. Then my husband wakes me up and tells me that the kids (my son and his cousin) are doing something with tables- we are at a beach but not the one I was in, and I am angry he woke me up, because my ocean was more fun that what they are doing, and I go back to 'bed', or the virtual ocean. I try to get back but can't, and then wake up in my physical bed, by the fat cat, who decided to try to take the door down.

Yesterday was a very busy day- we had lots of doctor appointments and got home late.
When I finally went to bed I had a flash of my mother, standing around with a cane she had been using the last year, where we had been, as if she had been there with us in the waiting area of the optical place we were today. It was as if she were telling me she was there with us today. It was somewhat weird, because I haven't 'seen' her in some time.
I extended an emotional hug to her and fell asleep.
Went through the usual sleeping night.
Then (in the early morning) I began to dream a recurring dream of my grandmother's old house- we were touring it. But now we were in a 'log cabin' copy of it, which looked beautiful. In the dream I was remembering what it actually looked at (a memory within a dream) as I toured the wooden copy of it, and was amazed at the improvements and beauty of the wooden copy.
I understood that since we were going to sell the original we wanted to preserve a copy of a place that held good memories.
As I awoke I went into a twilight state in which I was speaking on the phone (It wasn't really a false awakening, it was more of a drowsy lying down listening) and in this state I could hear my brother's voice as if he were speaking on the phone but with a poor connection.
I kept telling him to speak up, because I didn't understand clearly. He mumbled something about a friend of his "R" who was in a town north of us in the hospital. I had a hard trouble understanding the words but it sounded as if his friend were in the hospital, and my brother wanted to put his son in FP in a school or a camp, and I wanted to tell him to just bring him to my house, and he could go to the hospital to sit with him.
As I struggled to understand what he was telling me (it still wasn't clear, and I wasn't sure if I was understanding correctly) I looked at the clock and it seemed that it said 8:30 am. I took off my earplugs and realized that the alarm was still going off, and I had overslept for an hour.
Then I woke up and we hurried up to take my son to school, who was late. I overslept and didn't hear the alarm, which went on for a full hour.

Didn't recall yesterdays, but here's some highlights of last night:
Had a long night of teaching and learning dreams. Either became lucid or was lucid the first part, but I was floating around in the dream and I asked myself, what was the use of this. I then 'learned' it was about controlling the energy body. As soon as I thought this I became heavy and had a hard time elevating. I tried in many ways to take off but just couldn't. I spent some more time figuring out it was a mental thing, that it wasn't in 'moving' the body but in directing it with my mind. Then I took off and started flying as I usually do, but with conscious intent. I then resolved to become conscious of this when in dreamland. I flew around some more, had some more dream adventures that I have forgotten, and lost lucidity. Then later on at some point I was in a teaching environment in which I was the teacher, and then in other environments in which I was learning the relationship of dream action and material world effects. I can't say that I remember any details, but I do remember that it seemed to take a long time for me to get some concepts, and others were just repetitions of stuff that I already knew (magic potions, spells and rituals).
In the morning there was yet more instruction, and some predictive statements told by a female entity about what was going to happen. Don't know if it's accurate, but if it is, it is good.

Between six and seven am:
I was driving a van. Suddenly I felt a shadow, an oppression, and I knew something evil wanted to manifest. I had a bag with magical implements, and opened up a blue sheet in which I was going to bind the entity. I then opened up another sheet where I knew the entity was attached, and it had the marking of a little graphic of Picachu (yes, the Pokemon). It was embroidered in the fabric. I began to rub it and as I did the embroidered figure began to assume a 3D shape. I knew I was evoking it in that spot, and the plan was to find out what it was, what it wanted and then to dissolve it. (And no, I've never done anything like that in waking life). Then the alarm went off and I woke up to find that I was sideways with my finger rubbing against the bedsheet, like in the dream.
Then I got up.

We were driving in the highway and looked at the opposite side (to our left) of the road, when there was a huge flock of birds flying at car level. They flew next to us and when an approaching car came close, they would swoop upwards and then go back to car level. It was spectacular, and we were marveling at how they 'played chicken' with the traffic, when I looked up and saw a bald eagle flying overhead, and all of a sudden he plummeted down on the roof of our car and thumped the roof, then flew up again. We were amazed to see that there was some sort of animal (rodent?) on the roof of our car and he had seen it, come down and grabbed it. I could see his large talons as he flew up with prey in hand, and with a sort of global vision could also see the dent he left on our roof.
Then it merged into another dream,
In which we were driving to our old house (that we sold) and moving in there. We had brought our two cats, but in the old house our deceased cat was there, and she had another cat friend, and then our cats ran together with them. We settled in and watched them play together like cats do, chasing each other and running around.
After we spent the weekend there, we packed our stuff and came back to our house. We only brought the living cats back, left the other cats there. In my dream knowledge, I 'knew' that my husband wanted to live in both houses at the same time, and had devised a method to stay in our present house from monday to friday, and then we'd pack our family and stay in the old house, where my old pets were in a strange arrangement- they had a 'special' door in which they could come into the property that our living cats couldn't use.
At the end of the weekend, after packing and getting things ready for the week, we went to bed and I laid down next to my husband and told him "I don't want to keep going to the old house, I want to fully live in our house full-time". He then responded "you have bad breath" (sleep breath) to me. I then woke up in the same position as in the dream, except that my husband hadn't said anything.

Lots of dreams, last night. The one that I remember is (surprisingly) not the last one in the morning- this one was in the middle of the night (around 4am, technically the morning).
We were staying in the house I grew up in. (We being my present family). My husband heard some commotion outside, and went to see. Then my son and I were in the house. All of a sudden we hear screaming, people telling us to get out of the house. When we look out the front door and side window, we see fire three or four houses down the street. A fireman is knocking at the door telling us to get out. I tell my son to get his stuff, and we run out the door. I see that the house on fire is three houses down from us, too close for comfort.
I then wonder why my husband isn't hosing the grass and walls down, a standard thing people do when fire threatens. Then I remember that houses in PR are made of concrete and we shouldn't worry. We just stand there and watch the firemen putting the fire out. My hubby comes back from wherever he was and sees we're ok.
I wake up briefly and move on to another dream.
In the morning dream there is a name I'm given, that starts with J; I think it was Jacob. In the past couple of days I've been given names, not sure why, and I haven't written them down- too tired to bother.
ps. I know where the fire motif is coming from- a poster my son was working on yesterday which involved a background in flames, and the fact that I've been working with elements again in my hermetics work.

Two remembered dreams, nonlucid (but with 'life' memories in the second one)
I'm at war, I'm a soldier. At first it's traumatic and there is a lot of haphazard killing. Guys don't really know what they're doing, they're trigger happy. I'm worried they're going to kill civilians or each other. In the beginning I'm shooting at everything, no control whatsoever.
As the dream progresses I become more cautious, keep my weapon pointed up and move along clay walls and staircases with care, and manage to get into a building/stronghold/safehouse without weapon use, and unseen. i see others have gained control of themselves. I fade out and fade into another scene, with a limited memory of this dream, and full awareness of my present 'me', but not lucid.
Here I'm in a field, and I see a martial arts teacher, he is fat and old. He is teaching and I join the class. The place is dilapidated and the students are undisciplined. There is something wrong with him, he has lost the desire to teach 'the right thing'. I approach the scene and I see this is one spot in the middle of the previous scenery (warlike)- like an oasis in the desert, surrounded with bombs and artillery sounds. The area we are in is out in the open, although it is green with grass and trees. As I approach the sensei I see an old poster in a broken-down barn, and there is a poster of him when he was young, thin, in shape, and he's accompanied with two famous figures. I realize he used to be a trainer for important people, and has now declined physically and spiritually too.
I then approach him and he turns into a female (?) then I offer to hold the class inside my house, which is safe from the bombs. (?) She looks at me skeptically and the dream ends.
Note: The sensei was not anyone I know in real life, either aspect of him.
The 'safe' house was similar to my present house, but bigger.
I think there was lightning last night, so that may account for the warlike scenario. Maybe.

Woke up in pain, got up, walked around and went back to bed. Went to sleep in a position that didn't give me pain.
Started dreaming that I was going into a hospital. Had the awareness of 'another place' but not that I was dreaming. I was told by a 'doctor' that I had cancer. The doctor said 'we told you two years ago that you had cancer. Did you get treatment?' I told him that as soon as I returned to 'regular life' I forgot I had cancer so I didn't have treatment. He said 'well now it's too late'. I said something along the lines of 'If I stay here, will it progress, or if I stay ignorant of it will it just not exist?" and he didn't really answer me.
I woke up, disturbed about this dream (and about the one I had four years ago) and went back to sleep, and continued in the same 'place' with the same 'knowledge' that I was about to die. The alarm went off before I 'died', so I guess I'll have to see what happens next.

I spent most of the night having various kinds of nightmares. The "impending death" dream got mixed up with various other images, and a lot of it was confusing and chaotic.
Part of it was impressed by my receiving a note yesterday from a deceased friend- what happened is that her daughter sent me some pictures of all of us years gone by and she used her mother's address labels. When I got it in the mail it freaked me out a little, and once I opened it I figured out her daughter must have done it. To top it, one of the pictures was recent (from last week) and she looked a lot like her mother did when we used to hang out- sending chills up my spine. Like she was still here but not really.
Later on I found out that we had a major lightning storm last night and I slept through it. Apparently my hubby and son woke up with the very loud thunderbolt that made everyone else jump. They got up and turned the TV on, were up around an hour and then went back to bed. I slept through the whole thing, and knew nothing of it until my son told me this morning.
Weird. It didn't wake me but it sure gave me nightmares with explosions too.

Last night was one spent in a type of "life review", but not of waking reality. It was as if my whole 'dream life' was going in front of my eyes, remembering stuff that happened 'before'. There were specific themes, such as the beach and the water, but the 'facts' escape me. It was not sad or melancholy, and there was an element of 'being taught' in it.

This was one of those 'middle of the night' things, and I'm not sure if I was 'out' out, or 'just' dreaming, but there was something I was doing that I recently learned about (that I referenced in my blog) I hope helps in my physical body. I did it and then went back to sleep, which is why I don't remember much else.
I think it was successful, because I woke up with a feeling of accomplishment.

Last night I dreamed that I was covered in these large poxy looking blisters- and when I looked down my legs were shrunken, as if the insides were getting smaller. I went to the doctor (the astral doctor, lol) and he told me that my problems were caused by all the yogurt I've been eating (I have been, for weeks now). He said that the enzymes in the yogurt were making my blood too thick, and it wasn't able to reach all the places it had to, so the insides of my legs and my left arm were slowly dying from lack of blood, and he told me that this was the cause of my problems. He also told me he had warned be about the excessive yogurt intake before but I hadn't heeded his advice.
In the dream it seemed to make sense.

My subconscious was busy last night clearing stuff symbolically.
I was in a big beautiful house that was surrounded by a pool that abutted a natural waterway, perhaps a lake or a mangrove. I went into the water when I noticed it was full of garbage. I knew in the dream that I was in a mindscape and I was to symbolically remove obstacles and 'mind garbage' from my own self.
I began with garbage close to the water, diving in and taking it out- cups, paper, 'manmade things', and as I delved out into the more natural parts of the pool (where it abutted with the mangrove) there were rocks and plants growing in the water, and I started removing them. As I worked the water began to clear (it was dark and murky at first). I awoke before it cleared completely, but it had improved a lot at the time I woke up.
I had full lucidity on what I was supposed to do.

So I was in a dream I don't remember any details about, other than I was in someone's kitchen (It wasn't mine in the dream either) and someone was telling me that a great trick to add fragrance to a kitchen was to get the cloth napkins (who has cloth napkins, lol?) and to spritz them with water infused with lemongrass oil and sage, and to put them in a microwave for five seconds or so.
Then you put them on the table and it'll make your clean house smell cleaner.
Then I woke up, thinking it was a great idea, except I don't have cloth napkins, or lemongrass oil. But I have lemons and sage.
And dishtowels. :)

The past two days:
May 30th: (Night before) I was in a house or a dorm or a hospital. (Not sure, it was a group place with beds in it.) There were some of us (my hubby and I) and some friends from our past (married friends and others). I was in my bed when one of the guys (who I used to know and had no romantic notions about ever) got into bed with me and tried to get into my pants. I told him no, and his wife and my husband were in another part of the room (we were in full sight of them) and he didn't stop. I finally told him I'd think about it if he stopped trying at that moment. I then proceeded to go to bed, wondering if I was going to follow through to my promise. Although I usually don't make promises I don't keep, I kept telling myself I had to tell him this to make him stop. It didn't occur to me to get up, but there may have been some dual awareness there (of me in the bed) and I might have been paralyzed. I certainly wasn't lucid.
On the one last night I was on a trip to somewhere in the desert (Arizona or New Mexico, I'm not sure) with Alex and Eddie Van Halen. In the past I have dreamed that my husband is related to them (cousins) and he's not, and I think this dream was along those lines. In the dream we were on our way somewhere when Alex had to do some charity work to go help a woman in the desert, and after we were done helping him (I don't know what, at the time it seemed inconvenient but logical) we were on the way to wherever we were going. There was a really dilapidated house and a filthy bathroom in the dream, and I was glad to be on my way out of there.

I got up in the middle of the night and went back to sleep- I then had about three dreams, that seemed to follow each other.
In the first one I was in my grandmother's house, the one she lived in when I was a child. My great grandmother lived there until I was around 17, when she passed. The house was subdivided (in the dream) in a cube-within a cube- the core was dark, so dark it was impossible to see, and the surrounding was illuminated. My grandmother was looking for her mother (my abuelita) and she couldn't find her. I was helping her look for her in the darkness. I felt the same melancholy I felt all day and I don't know if this feeling caused the dream or if it illustrated something that's happening (perhaps in my head). In the dream I had the rote that my grandmother was alive but my abuelita was dead. (side note: I have seen my abuelita in projection in this 'house', and it's not 'where' she was before.
I then woke up realizing both my grandmother and great grandmother are no longer here.
Then I dreamt I was in my mother's house (where she and my grandmother lived in the last part of their lives) and she was crying over my grandmother's death. It was a similar context- she was 'alive' and my grandma was 'dead', in this more recent environment. I was initially there to comfort her, but then the environment changed. I think I woke up and went back to sleep a few more times, but in this part of the dream, her house became a huge mansion that looked like a theme-park 'haunted mansion', will lots of 'fake' special effects- a closet with holographic 'scary goblins' that were more fun than anything, and a bunch of different artifacts, 'Harry Potter' style 'magic' stuff that revealed itself to be special effects; and I wondered how much money she spent to 'pimp out' the place.
I knew this was for my benefit, because I love the haunted house motif and her and I had always a shared love of all 'paranormal' motifs, from the horror to all the 'Forteana' type of stuff. At the end of this dream I am very hungry (which makes sense, because I didn't eat last night) and am looking for something to eat in her huge kitchen. In it I find all kinds of prepackaged 'typical criollo' favorites, and some I'd never seen before, but looked yummy. I don't think I ate.
Then I went to another dream in which everything was beautiful and full of gold and jewels. I received a bunch of diamonds (I think my mother was there, but I don't think she gave them to me- this part is fuzzy, it could have been her but I don't remember her giving them to me). I then half awoke and started coughing because I had what felt like rocks in my mouth. I spit one out and it looked like the diamond I had been given in the dream. I then held on to it and went back to sleep, knowing it was a hypnopomp, but holding on to it nonetheless. I then slept some more and had more 'diamond' dreams. When I woke up my hand was still closed in a fist, but there was nothing in it.
So I got up.

This morning, two dreams, both uncomfortable.
In one I'm at my mother's house. She looks exceptionally beautiful, as when she was in her twenties, but her eyes are a different color- green, as her grandmother.
She has two babies and I have one. When I go to her bedroom, she has neglected them, and one of them is dead, and the other one is dying.
I scold her and berate them for not taking care of them. She seems not to care, and I try to nurse the one that is alive back.
I go to my room and my baby is very much alive and fat. I feed him, and then try to take care of my mom's neglected baby, and as I hold my (big) baby I try to also bottle feed hers. What happened to the dead one is not clear- it was not a skeleton but so thin and pitiful that I think as I nursed the live one the dead one began to come back somehow.
I don't remember how it ended, or how it transitioned to the other dream. I think I got up to pee and had no liminal visions or anything- from dream to awake and then back to sleep.
Second dream:
Now we're in 'our old neighborhood'- except it isn't from this reality. We are in an apartment building (previously visited dreamscape, it's here somewhere) and there is a party in the neighborhood. They are going to close the streets for the party. My husband has gone somewhere and I'm waiting for him to come back, although I'm not really in a party mood. My son has gone out on the street, very much into this party. I can see him enjoying himself. I then hear voices speaking about him, and there is something about opening or closing doors (something about doors, anyway). I wake up, and no liminals either. I tried to keep my eyes closed and will something to come in, but nothing.

Was in some sort of retreat, it was a retreat for lightworkers or something like that. There was a large gathering, and I moved off to the side and sat on a table. Next to me was a man, who told me 'this is my work', and gave me a card. In the card was a picture of two small children, who looked like they were very thin, like starving, and their bodies were covered with a horrible pustular rash. They were obviously alive, but looked really bad.
I saw it and gave him the card and said 'I'm not going to look' and looked away from him, not shocked, but in deep disapproval. I then walked away from him, and another lady from the group said "I see 'he' is here. I don't know why he keeps coming to these gatherings.
I then intuited that this man was equal to the rest of the women or beings there, but they didn't like him, however they didn't interfere with him. I think he was an archetype, for disease or death, not sure. (I think it was disease, because the children were up and walking). I sort of felt sorry for him, but he didn't seem sorry to be shunned (or just tolerated.)
I woke up, wondering about this.

I was at a friend's house visiting. She left the room and I could see it was raining outside, and there were leaks all through the house. I didn't understand how they had all this water coming in- even in the bedroom. They didn't seem bothered by it. I then spoke to her mother or grandmother, and I saw a card and picked it up. There was more but I have forgotten.
Then I was at another friend's house. This was one of my high school friends (long time ago). I discovered she had written a book (or someone had, and she had the book) and I found it. I went to ask this old person if I could have it, because it was about me. One of the reasons that I wanted to see it is because in the story she had said I had cancer, and I wanted to know if I survived in the story. I was allowed the book and was on my way out of the house when I woke up.

Was having a dream I already forgot about, when I remembered an exercise I wanted to do, and proceeded to try it, with no results. The exercise was creating a big blue sky in my vision screen. All of a sudden I realized that I was shooting off beams of heat (fire element) from my arm in a side to side motion (dual awareness within the dream, 2 bodies doing different things perhaps) when I felt the heat coming from my arm, and this roused me awake. Then I tried to go back, did a couple more visualizations, and got up, to find it was raining torrentially. Apparently the storm (Debby) (http://weblogs.sun-sentinel.com/news/specials/weirdflorida/blog/2012/06/deputies_naked_man_attacked_fl.html)is closer than I thought.

I think he was an archetype, for disease or death, not sure. (I think it was disease, because the children were up and walking). More precisely, His work is suffering: dis-ease and ego-death, and renewing the youth thereby, like the phoenix thin from fasting, whose skin is scorched by the heat of the flames. Neosporin. Yes, HE IS, an Archetype.

I got up in the middle of the night and went back to sleep- I then had about three dreams, that seemed to follow each other. Three dreams, describing the gradual transformation resulting from the shift of the dreamer's point of view in three steps:
Dream 1:
1. from shallow ego, lamenting the loss of connection with the ancient core, which is very good because the only way to solve a problem is to first admit the painful truth that there is a problem, the ignorance of which is represented by the darkness (As "whatsoever makes manifest is light" so whatever hides a thing is 'darkness') of the core, into the dark core itself, a journey referred to by Saint John of the Cross in his unparalleled masterpiece, The Ascent of Mt. Carmel as "The Dark Night of the Soul" which causes what formerly appeared to be true "illumination" and familiarity, reveal itself to be poorly contrived darkness and stagnation. This release of inferior beliefs in order to grasp superior truth is always accompanied by a poignant "melancholy" because it entails the loss of the transient egotistical story, to make way for the intransient eternal truth. This has been referred to in various places as an "existential crisis," or "identity crisis," and is to be treated as such, with the greatest of tenderness.
Dream 2:
2. In the second dream the relationship of the dreamer to the ancestral becomes closer by 1/3. Instead of being in the grandmother's house the dreamer is in the mother's house, thus the dreamer's vast unexplored expanses are steadily becoming a 'small world' so to speak. The formula for the degrees of the separation between the dreamer and the Ancient is therefore: Dream1 - 3 Degrees of separation, dreamer is in grandmother's house [ 1. ego, 2. mother, 3. grandmother], Dream 2 - 2 Degrees of separation, dreamer is in mother's house [1. ego, 2. mother], Dream 3 - Union, as there is no such thing as one degree of separation as any numbers that are one degree away from their neighbors will be touching their neighbors ["1" touches "2" whereas "1" does not touch "3" because "2" is between "1" and "3"]. There also appears a parallel development hinted at by the relational shifting, namely, the integration of the projected stories or personas of "my grandmother" and "my mother" into the interior of the dreamer's psyche. This is represented by death, as when a projected image, such as a movie, disappears from the screen, that's 'the end of it'. From the point of view of the Self, images and meaning are either outside or inside, projected or integrated and if they are projected they are 'alive' but when they are integrated they 'die' because they cease to have a life of their own outside the walls of the dreamer's psyche. (This is another way of describing the loss of a complex, which is primary marker of progress in most modern effective psychology. Whoever loses a complex gains the essence of the complex by default, which is a prize to be most sought after.)
Thus, initially the dreamer is comforting her mother over her grandmother's 'death', which parallels the 3 Degrees of separation, leading to the integration by the dreamer of her grandmother's persona, the loss of her 'grandmother complex' and the gain of her grandmother's real essence. Next, the dreamer's mother dies, which is not expressly stated because "It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter," nor would The Dreamweaver insult the dreamer's intelligence. Nonetheless, this 'death' is sufficiently highlighted by the parenthetical statement, "(where she and my grandmother lived in the last part of their lives)" because the verb "lived" is rendered in the past tense, implying that both are now 'dead.' As well, "the last part of their lives" is actually redundancy of the death motif we could interpret mathematically as two death, one for the grandmother, and one for the mother. Therefore, the dreamer integrates her mother's persona, loses her 'mother complex' and gains her mother's real essence. This parallels the 2 degrees of separation. This is her unmentioned comfort she recieves as it is her turn to be comforted. The next 'death' to occur is that of the ego. This is what is meant by the statement, "then the environment changed" In the real world, the only way for one's environment to change is for the individual to get up and move, which tells us that the dreamer's identity has shifted from the ego complex to the Self, Oversoul, Holy Ghost, Higher Self, etc. This is the central part of the middle dream, the cube within a cube, the Holy of Holies, The Holy Spirit coming into His Temple, as we are told, "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?" No doubt the Apostle Paul here spoke to those who had already been through this process. This process takes on a stop and start character for the dreamer as initially she only 'thinks' she woke up, then proceeds to vacillate between waking and sleeping states, which no doubt contain just as much meaning as the images themselves, representing the unique struggle to understand her new relationship to everything and to assimilate the fact that "The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal," as a perfect cube should be, as the real Holy of Holies was a perfect cube. From Wikipedia: "The Holy of Holies was located in the westernmost end of the Temple building, being a perfect cube: 10 cubits by 10 cubits, by 10 cubits. The inside was in total darkness and contained the Ark of the Covenant, gilded inside and out, in which was placed the Tablets of the Covenant." Please note that it was in total darkness, as the dreamer's environment is "so dark it was impossible to see," in the first dream.
Dream 3:
3. The dreamer is in her own house, Her own Mind, as "the wise man's eyes are in his head" not the mind her grandmother told her she had when she was little, nor the personality (or name) her mother told her she had when she was young and impressionable, but a full-ownership, completely actualized occupation of being. The dreamer realizes that she is rich beyond her wildest dreams because within Her lie the true gems of wisdom. This is Individuation, Self-programming, and realization of all sovereignty residing presently in the Self, not the past. This is a commentary on Individuation, on letting the Self, or Higher Self, or Holy Ghost, or Oversoul be you, thus becoming IT, no longer the tiny picture boxed in by a frame, but the frame itself, connected with everything else that is outside the picture, with infinity, with the deepest heritage of the past, matriarchal, represented here by the great grandmother, and patriarchal, yet somehow continuing to contain the picture, which enhances the feeling of being rich even more.
Much more may be said about these dreams, however, I will finish by commenting on some interesting tidbits in brackets "[ ]" below as I believe enough has been said to 'get the picture':
I got up in the middle of the night and went back to sleep- I then had about ["about"="around"="circular"="Circumambulatory"= "Whole" i.e. dreams of wholeness] three dreams, that seemed to follow each other. [following each other, circumambulatorily, as those who walk in circles follow each other, cyclically or in spiral patterns]
In the first one I was in my grandmother's house, the one she lived in when I was a child. My great grandmother lived there until I was around 17, [A Round 8(1+7) = Whole] when she passed. The house was subdivided ["subdivided"='cut asunder'= 'dead,' mind is dissociated, prima materia, common clay, lead] (in the dream) in a cube-within a cube- the core was dark, so dark it was impossible to see, [Holy of Holies] and the surrounding was illuminated [false light].
[foreshadowing of assimilation, dissociations of mind/house healed]
Then I dreamt I was in my mother's house (where she and my grandmother lived in the last part of their lives) and she was crying over my grandmother's death. It was a similar context- she was 'alive' [projected outward by the dreamer as opposed to integrated by the dreamer] and my grandma was 'dead' [integrated and owned by the dreamer as opposed to egotistically projected and disowned], in this more recent environment. I was initially there to comfort her, but then the environment changed. [dreamer's point of view shifts, oversoul is exchanged for another oversoul, new Archetype is activated in dreamer's mind] I think I woke up and went back to sleep a few more times, [struggle between old oversoul and new Archetype for dreamer] but in this part of the dream, her house became a huge mansion that looked like a theme-park 'haunted mansion', will lots of 'fake' special effects- a closet with holographic 'scary goblins' that were more fun than anything, and a bunch of different artifacts, 'Harry Potter' style 'magic' stuff that revealed itself to be special effects; and I wondered how much money she spent to 'pimp out' the place. [Dreamer can now truly See] I knew this was for my benefit, because I love ["Love" X1] the haunted house motif and her and I had always a shared love ["Love" X2] of all 'paranormal' motifs, from the horror ["from the horror" = of the original deception in dream 1] to all the 'Forteana' type of stuff [i.e. truly spiritual matters, Pun on 'Forte' as well, i.e. 'onward to a climax,' forshadowing dream 3]. At the end of this dream I am very hungry ['Food' X1, spiritual hunger for true spiritual food] (which makes sense, because I didn't eat ['Food'X2] last night) [hadn't ever had true spiritual food before] and am looking for something to eat ['Food' X3] in her huge kitchen.['Food' X4] In it I find all kinds of prepackaged 'typical criollo' favorites ['Food' X5, i.e. good (god) food], and some I'd never seen before, ['Food' X6 "I'd never seen before" alludes to prior spiritual blindness] but looked yummy. ['Food' X7] I don't think I ate. ['Food' X8(number of wholeness) didn't eat/achieve wholeness yet because dream three is where that occurs.]
Then I went to another dream in which everything was beautiful and full of gold and jewels. [True Sight is beautiful, and makes everything look beautiful because beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Everything is a miracle because it's a miracle that there is anything at all] I received a bunch of diamonds [spiritual treasures, soul fragments, dissociated complexes] (I think my mother was there, but I don't think she gave them to me- this part is fuzzy, it could have been her but I don't remember her giving them to me). [mother is old oversoul, still in the background, but "fuzzy," fading away] I then half awoke [moves away somewhat from old oversoul, volitionally] and started coughing because I had what felt like rocks [spirits, words] in my mouth. I spit one out and it looked like the diamond I had been given in the dream. I then held on to it and went back to sleep, knowing it was a hypnopomp, but holding on to it nonetheless. [the spiritual is now as important to the dreamer as the physical] I then slept some more and had more 'diamond' dreams. [more treasure acquired, mind is one, re-solved, transformed into gold from lead] When I woke up [fully awake, as opposed to "half awoke"] my hand was still closed in a fist, but there was nothing in it. [The 'nothing', the Spirit, has become the 'Something' to be gripped, full inversion from original position has occurred. Hold on tight! :-)]
So I got up. [Spiritual Ascension, awake "from the dead," new Archetype fully activated, truly Alive, truly Eternal]
