Killing Insects...

Is it bad to kill insects?

To me, it seems like doing them a favour. If they're really annoying me i quickly crush them... or if i'm feeling nice i'll thow them out the window.

Is it bad when an insect kills someone?

Some insects are very poisonous.

Nature red in tooth and claw...Kipling.

I think this depends on your beliefs. To a Buddhist, killing a flea is bad karma. To most other people, its not an issue.

Everything living is conscious.

And around and around we go.

My home is infested with ants. Should I spare the ants and not be able to live here, or call the exterminator to commit mass murder?

Common sense says I'll make the call.
