I found this article and wasn't quite sure what to make of it.

What's your take? It seems that something vaguely demonic is attacking people in epidemic fashion, and cannot be identified bacterially or virally by scientists.
It almost reminds me of St. Vitus dance or some other psychological sickness... except with more dark dragon visions and less "possessed by devil."

Reminds me of an episode of Supernatural where people would catch some kind of ghost "virus" and suffer from increasing anxiety untill it killed them. I hope more is learnt about this problem soon. Reminds me of the noding disease in Africa I think.

Interesting. It could be a case of an entity getting his kicks out of messing with the living. This happens alot, more often than you'd think actually and teenagers are easy to control by these entities, due to the upheavel of puberty and emotional changes they are experiencing. What this lady is doing is getting the entity out of the child but not dealing with the entity itself, and it just moves on to the next victim it finds.
