Recurring Nightmares

Hello, my girlfriend is having some recurring nightmares every night and day where someone who she knows, (family and friends) are hurt or dead, she say's that the dreams are pure evil. Does anyone have any suggestion how to cease this nightmares, any help?

There's a few ways around this problem.
The first would be to find out what in real life is causing them. I don't mean anything occult, but what are the symbols in the nightmares, what are the situations. After we find out what the dreams are (the plot, the characters, the symbols) then we can move on to possible ways of attacking this problem.
