I notice after about three months of doing NEW feet exercises before going to sleep that it has a strong effect on my dream state.
Now I can do 30 seconds to 5 minutes of awareness on my feet before bed and in most of my dreams I will remain conscious; it feels like there is no "wow factor" that you get from lucid dreams where everything is bright. It's just more like "oh I'm dreaming, yeah ok." But it is more maintainable than the high lucidity dreams. I guess the state you go to sleep in has a large effect on your state of mind during dreams.
Just thought I'd pass it along. It's a good technique. Most members here are prolly way beyond something so simple.
