I found this website to be very fun:
http://gizapyramid.com/research.htm
I have only browsed it briefly but there are so many rad articles, I have to share it.
I work in construction, and work with engineers and surveyors pretty often. Usually, they have no idea how complex and perfect that pyramid is. But once I tell them even a few details, they always agree that there is no possible way that we could build that pyramid with modern technology. We couldn't even come close.

The pyramids were built by descandants of Atlantis . They are part of the design which explains the Mayan prediction of when our world will end

Interesting claim. What do you base this claim on? (No need to post links, just writing where the 'information' came from will be sufficient, thanks.)

The claim is made in a book called 'The Orion Prophecies' . I am normally very sceptical about people interpreting prophecies , but the autor makes a very convincing argument . He bases his theory based on the writings of the Ancient Mayans . They as well as the Aztecs were an absolutely brilliant group of people . Sun worshippers .. The prediction is that our World will end on 21 December 2012 . That is just around the corner ..
In something totally seperate 'Edgar Cayce' predicted that Atlantis will be revealed soon .. Many believe that Atlantis was just a might .. This prediction ties in with the Orion prophecies..
There are some more interesting and unrelated predictions that after reading the 'Orion Prophecies' make me wonder whether we are very close to the End Of Times... H

I'm sorry but didn't the end of the Mayan calender, and i believe there was a similar Cherokee prediction, mean the end of TIME as we know it?
not the end of the world, as has been interpretted by many.
i'm no expert (on anything, lol) but from what i've read, it seems they're talking about the end of on age, and the beginning of a new one...
like i said tho, i'm no expert..

Yes the end of an age.

I also agree that it is the birth of the new age. But for the new age to be born, the old age must die. How violent a death that is going to be depends directly on the collective karma of the human race. And from the looks of it, there are some dark days ahead.
