Spooky coincidence?

this morning i was in a dream with my flatmate, we were at home nothing unusual going on.
then my very good friend Brian walked in.
at the moment he's on vacation in Aruba, so in the dream, my flatmate said "he shouldn't be here, he's on holiday!"
i realised that was true, and so realised i was lucid. :)
i immediately decided to try to go OOB/astral.
i was looking directly at Brian, and as i felt myself separating, he said to me "i want to talk to you guys"

at that moment, i heard my flatmate's phone recieve a text message in her room, which is next to mine, and i woke up.
i was i little bit annoyed about my experience being cut short, until i told her about it today.
her eyes went wide :shock: as she grabbed her phone to show me the message she'd recieved..

it was from Brian, in Aruba, saying he wished we were there partying with him! :shock:

Sounds to me like you were projecting and interacted with his projected double.
It's amazing the stuff we do while awake and don't know we're doing it. While he was texting you he was actually projecting his consciousness that way, and you saw him because you were asleep & projecting.
Anyway, that's how I see it.
I dream with my hubby and my son more often than not. A lot of the times the scenarios are different, occasionally complementary. So even though I agree with those who say dream scenarios are individual, I believe the closer you are the more you're allowed to visit each other's dream scenarios. You're probably either in the 'same wavelength' :P Or used to sharing each other's physical space (as flatmates) and this may somewhat translate into the astral.

yep. that's kinda what i thought was happening.
i lived with Brian in two different flats over the past 2 1/2 years, and we are very close friends, so it makes sense.

how cool!! :D
