Seeing with the eyes closed.

I've realized recently that at some point in the last 6 months I developed a reasonable ability to see with my eyes closed. Its about 50% clarity I'd say. Just wondering though, is there any use for this skill or is it just an interesting side effect of energy work and meditation? Sometimes I use it with the dissolving method as explained by BK Frantzis but it doesn't seem to enhance the dissolving, it just lets me watch the dissolving take place to a certain extent. Would you have any ideas for using this?

This is called Astral Sight and it is sometimes a precursor to the OBE state; it indicates that a separation has taken place but the perception is still situated 'in' your body.
