Dear Robert,

Just wishing to settle a little debate we have been having hehe...

Is it true if one does not pass through the white light on death that they do not have to reincarnate again? For I thought there was nothing wrong with passing through the white light into the astral planes at death and then eventually reincarnating again and again until we liberate from the reincarnation wheel through enlightenment.

Thank you kindly in advance.

G'day,

If after death, one does not need to sleep and dream and process ones life, and one is spiritually developed enough, I think you gain a lot more choices and can then choose to help the living as a spirit, or to choose to reincarnate. This occurs in some traditions, where the master reincarnates and his/her students are led to the child the master has incarnated into a few years later.

Basically, the afterlife process is variable and what happens depends largely on what you expect and believe in, and on what you take there with you.
