Power nap is a hypnosis that restores 6 hours of sleep in 40 minutes.
I bought power-nap which promised to restore 6 hours of sleep in 40 minutes and it worked for most people but not for me. Perhaps I'm hypnosis resistant? Or perhaps I'm just too stressed (which i am). I'm 15 years old and i sleep like 9 hours and still wake up tired for school that's why i need something like that.
Here's the link: http://www.powernap.com/store/cart.php? ... ory_id=248 (http://www.powernap.com/store/cart.php?target=product&product_id=16134&category_id=248). How can i loosen myself in to accept the hypnosis?

There are many different ways to powersleep, here is the one I learned from Sifu Wong Kiew Kit's web site.
Sit in a comfortable place in lotus position if possible (I did do this just sitting normally once and sitting with my legs outstretched and it still worked fine, but lotus works best)
Focus on your breathing, and as you draw your breath you must focus the breath into the tan tien located next to the power chakra (for some people it's directly behind it and for others behind and up top, if you focus the energy in that general direction it will reach it's destination naturally :) ) and keep doing this until you go to sleep, but it is important that when you reach sleep you are doing this, as you will continue to sleep in this manner, when you awaken about 40 minutes later you will feel like you had 6 hours of sleep!

This explains a lot to me. Lately I have been practicing AP techniques in bed (ones based heavily on energy work) and afterwards I feel too aware to sleep. So I've been getting between 1-4 hours a night sleep for the past few weeks.

Thanks for responding. But there are some things in which i do not understand.
Firstly, What is the nature of the lotus position?
Secondly, where is the tan tien and the power chakra?

The lotus posture is probably the best-known yoga asana. It can be very difficult and is probably not worth learning unless you are really dedicated. It requires that one sit with the legs crossed in such a way that the right foot is on top of the left thigh and the left foot is on top of the right thigh.

The lower tan tien is between the navel and the genitals.

Hah excellent words Sophrinicus.
You could also try rhythm napping? I seem to notice heightened energy from it.

Whats rhythm napping?
I have to get to school and for me I need more sleep time than average and it wastes too much time. I want to compress that.

I think you might want to take a little advice from Paul Mason.... "We will sell no wine before it is time."

Well rhythm napping- you should try this over the weekend or over break. And basically take naps for between 30 minutes to 1:30 hours. Stuff like that and you do it throught the late afternoon and evening
I don't know how well it will work for continued use, but generally it gives immediate extra energy.
