Strange OBE Experience

The first and only time I have had an OBE I had a very frightening experience. While dreaming I became completely aware of myself and woke up in my room outside my body. I was amazed to be out of my body and began to move around my room. After just a few minutes of being outside my body I began to hear what sounded like thousands of voices screaming. The voices where overwhelming and I became very frightened and decided that I had to return to my body. I quickly thought of my arm and tired to move it. This returned me to my body in no time and the voice where gone after I woke up.

Have you ever heard of this before or would you know what those voices may have been or where they were coming from?

This is a version of the 'dweller on the threshold' phenomena, which can be thought of as a test.

To pass the test, face it, command it to go away, or just ignore it.

It is unlikely to happen again if faced.

Alternatively, you could have tuned into some astral noise that just sounded like this...some kind of static.

Regardless, this is nothing to worry about.
