Lucid dreaming and knowing what will happen ?

I've had a lucid dream yesterday.I was somewhere on this road at night.My mother was with me and she went one way towards a cemetery and I went the other way on a road.She then yelled at me that I was supossed to go the other way but it was too late.There was this black man on a bike and he then stopped the bike got off and I knew that he will try to kill me or do something awfull to me and he had some rope in his hands.I saw a pickup truck with a snow plow attached and I put my left hand in front of it to stop it but then I immediately woke up.I wanted to ask for help.It seemed that I was in total control and decided that I knew what was going to happen and I woke up because I didn't want to experience that.Has anyone had this kind of experience?

Yes, that's how most people become lucid in dreams- when they feel they're in danger, and that triggers lucidity and then they can control the dream briefly before waking up. And stopping it is a way to control it.
