I feel like Donna Eden talks about this a little biti her book Energy Medicine, which I really like. However, I feel like it's more of a mention, than a chapter on the subject, so I wouldn't buy it just for that. Even still though- I think a lot of common sense and basic energy body knowledge goes a long way to deciphering it.

I'm sure it has a meaning. In this case your subconscious is transforming what you feel into an action, Many gestures and postures are to protect the body, so why not the energy body as well? Especially for a sensitive that would make sense - the subconscious taking that emotion and transforming it into a body posture...
