Descent into madness
The diary of a killer
By Vernon Frolick
A true story from the Canadian wilderness

To me this book was fascinating story of a man that fled the US during the Vieynam war to escape the draft. This guy ended up living / surviving
in the Canadian wilderness 13yrs on his own, with very little human contact. He kept day to day journals on his experinces & thoughts. And this really showed how ones own mind in seclusion can work against itself

He talked about sneek arounds and people out to get him. Speakers & listening devices in the woods. This reminded me of some of the tricks negs pull!

What pulled me to this story was my father inlaw was hunting caribou
up in Canada, at the time this guy was there. Rumor was there was this madman up there killing people & eating them. Kinda made everybody nervous, including the indian tribes that lived there. They even steered
clear of the area. Of course he wasn't eating people, but did kill a few.

I found it a good book on the mind!
