View Full Version : Major Chakra's development

I was just wondering if people could compare "orthodox" ways of development with the 7 chakras, (like all I know about that is like imagining chakras and washing em in some bucket, a pretty lame guessy guessy approach to cleansing the chakras. And imagining them spinning and opening or something.) With Robert Bruces more innovative way of pulling energy to them. For example people who do it the other way (not that it isn't the same this way) report that they feel like they have more energy even when energy is not raised and stored, and I'm wondering if the same is seen in the N.E.W approach, also I'm wondering if the pulling of energy and all, does it make the chakras dependent on the energy being raised? And if it is so does that mean that the energy that normally passes through them will not flow? Just a few questions I fostered, don't know how they came up but I think it will be an interesting thing making the comparison.

My feeling is that a technically detailed system such as Robert Bruce has is better overall than semi-flaky (in my opinion) visualization-based systems. Both will work in the long run, but Robert's is more hands on, and covers the entire energy body, and allows you to get really involved in your own health.
As I said, this is my own opinion, but being scientific-minded I really do prefer Robert's system to more vague ones. Another good system is Mantak Chia's, where you rest your concentration on an energy center rather than stimulating it in a mobile way. I think a combination of both methods works very well.

NEW is a broad range of exercises which are very useful to develop the chakras .

Here is a specific method of powering up by pulling energy down the spinal chakral column in deep cleansing and then raising it up thru the feet .
