I learned last night that my Mother-in-Law, Janet, died. Her funeral is scheduled for Monday morning.
For what it is worth I would note that the day she died, September 8th, has -- since ancient times -- been remembered by all orthodox Christians as the birthday of the Mother of God. I pray that Janet will come under her patronage under her title as the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel.
