I'm not a big UFO 'believer' but this has always struck me as true- I loved John Keel's book and loved this podcast

pardon me but didn't you see a huge UFO lurking over your house once?
sorry I didn't see the youtube video.

Yes. Experiencer, yes. Believer, no. There's a huge difference.
When someone says 'so and so' told them that the arcturians are coming (just a made-up reference), I say, ok....tell me more. Other people will just believe it and when it doesn't happen, they'll imagine the arcturians came and were invisible, came to a parallell earth, or they had the date wrong- it must be ten years for now. That's a true believer, and I'm not one.
Even Whitley Strieber, the 'experiencer extraordinaire', often wonders if what he experienced was more of a spiritual phenomena, and not 'nuts and bolts'.
I always wonder about what happened to me, and why it stopped, and wonder what exactly is what happened. A believer doesn't wonder, they just accept any explanation.
You should look at the video, it's really interesting (at least to me.)

Well , I honestly very glad this came up , because the past couple of years it has been pretty confusing I mean , you talk of spiritual matter but sound more and more skeptic (I am honestly very much just as nonplussed as you are as to why this is happening).Sometimes I write in and the matter seems very "paranormal" (your favorite word) but the response is very logical and sound-minded.Just as baffling to me.
I'm watching it right after (the video).

Haha, yes, I'm more of an empiricist than a skeptic. However, what I'm skeptical about is, human nature and our tendency to weave tales to explain what we don't understand. I don't think I have the answers, I just don't believe people who do think they do.

Okay I tried really hard but just couldn't get into it , then I forced myself to watch for longer and marked for a later watch.
Has anyone seen the mothman episode on paranormal witness though?

No, but I highly recommend John Keel's book- the original one. It scared the living crap out of me, and it wasn't even written that way.
