That's just fancy speak for having projected to other planets. Many of us have done that. And the 'listening to the sound' is the same technique many of us use to synchronize with the ethereal when inducing a projection. You can find it in the 'exit' or 'energy body' techniques in the OBE forums (R & D, most likely) under 'Birm's Triangle Method.' Jargon's different, but the method is the same.
