Not that I know of. You still need energy to affect things in a manifest 'world'. As such, you still need an energy source.

If you mean we realize that we are immortal being then yes.
If you mean that we can sustain our physical body for unlimited time than only maybe. ;)

I have pondered this question.

I would think that if you were very good at AP it would be the next best thing as you would have certainty of yourself as a spiritual being which is priceless of course!

It depends what you define as immortality as we are all immortal anyway ,an awareness and knowing of it ,then yes
