So I am very excited to participate in these practices. I have been doing NEW for a few years and am a taji quan and qi gong practitioner.
I really like practicing as I drift off for afternoon naps and after waking up in the middle of the night as I go to sleep again. I find that the energy work carries on and intensifies by itself as I wake up and or drift back to sleep in cycles. Sometimes I have this heavy dense feeling at the perineum as if there were a lump of clay there pushing upwards. Sometime it has a very erotic feel. This usually happens on its own in the sleep cycle not during my sitting or standing practice fully awake. I know about the earth correspondences to the root chakra but I don't think of that at all during or after practice so much. But the dense energy seems to be stuck there or is in a phase of feeling like it is stuck there.
