Breath syncing with energy work

I am going through the initial energy work exercises in Bruce's Mastering Astral Projection and have noticed that while I do the energy work my breath rate starts to match the pattern of the energy work action I am doing. If I am thinking of up/down sponging for example my exhale/inhale will match the rate of the sponging action. If I concentrate I can avoid having my breath sync, but if i don't focus it always syncs. Is this ok? can i ignore this or should it be corrected somehow?

You can decide to use it that way or not, it's up to you. I kept it synced, it suits me.

Thanks....as long as I know it wont interfere with the process I dont mind having it synced. In fact it's easier since then I dont have to concentrate on modulation by breath or energy work. I can just go with the flow....
