I also want you all to know that, while I will defend Christianity, I will also expose its holes and hypocrisies.

For instance (from the point of view of a hypocritical Christian):

Alchemy is magic.
Magic is bad.

Astrology is magic.
Magic is bad.

Chemistry arose from alchemy.
Chemistry is good because it is Science.

Astronomy arose from astrology.
Astronomy is good because it is Science.

In order to refrain from hypocrisy, one would have to say that science is bad because it originated from occultists.

I would posit that hypnosis is part of modern Christian hypocrisy. They say it is bad because it had occult origins, but at the same time accept Chemistry and Astronomy.

This, straight up, doesn't make sense.

It is against the rules of this forums to start threads that are for the purposes of either promoting or condemning any religion. It is perfectly acceptable to make statements of faith "I believe in this or that" or "I don't believe in this or that", but that's as far as this discussion is going to go. If we had a forum specifically designed for discussions pertaining to religion, it's one thing, but we don't- for a reason.
