Mind split effect

In my dream today, kind of all of a sudden forget about my dream and remember myself at my computer armchair and then feeling a turbulence in my chest and then i easily got out of body. The thing is though, it was dreamlike and it was semi-conscious is this what shadow memories are like? And then right after that i had a memory where i was in my bed and then i got out, and then i woke up and wrote this down. Is mind split supposed to be 100% conscious or dream-like memory?

Shadow memories can be like that- you have a combination of simultaneous or mixed up experiences, some more dreamlike than others, or no memories at all, and all of a sudden a memory of something that comes back to you like remembering a dream you had forgotten. So yeah, that's exactly it.
The turbulence in your chest is fairly typical of early exit sensations, when the heart chakra gets involved in the projection. This does ease off with practice.
