I found this rather poorly titled article today:
http://www.alternet.org/sex-amp-relationships/why-some-people-hate-sex-fascinating-psychology-behind-sexual-revulsion?page=0%2C8&paging=off
It talks about how a couple's troubles in their sex life as it comes up in therapy. The therapist takes a different approach and looks for hurt self aspects being protected by other self aspects that took over when the shame seemed too strong. In helping to heal these hurt aspects through a trance therapy with self dialogue, he helps the couple transform their attitudes towards themselves and then to each other, finding a new way to be intimate with each other - to be truly present.
A refreshing account from a true healer.
