So I had a strange experience last night and im not sure if its really possible or not. Im on the Mastering Astral Projection program (and studying the NEW document). As I was working on my deep relaxation technique before bed last night, things got alittle fuzzy but I was still awake both physically and mentally. I saw a brightly lit basement with pillows in the corner which was in full vivid color and all this time I still felt my hands on my stomach and most of my body, I also heard the OBE Sleep Programming MP3 playing in my headphones, then everything started spinning and thats when i got a feeling of vertigo and opened my eyes. At that time i realized I had lost all awareness of physical reality after I was snaped back into it and had the sensation of waking up complete with sleep sand in my eyes and the mp3 was not finished playing yet.

So what the heck happened?

You started to phase (http://www.astraldynamics.com.au/showthread.php?3463-How-to-phase-Or-phasing-made-simple-) into the astral, or had a moment of clairvoyance.

Oh, Wow. I guess it means Im on the right track if in week 1 of the program Im phasing or having clairvoyance. Though I imagine its phasing, I did not recognize that basement at all. My home does not even have a basement. Unless its the future...., I hope Im not going to get kidnapped lol.

It could be anyone's basement, or a symbolic basement. That's why phasing is usually considered an astral and not etheric projection- not the realtime place where your body is.

If you work with the mind awake/body asleep state it can happen that you pass a certain threshold of relaxation and the "dream reflex" kicks in. I was quite startled to have this happen during exercises, actually. It can for example happen that you feel awake and suddenly the dream action kicks in simultaneously.

would i be really of the map if i say i think basically absolutely every ap practice boils down to "mind awake body asleep"

just seems like that to me is all.
