Primary Colors and Shapes

Hi All,

I've been encouraging my mother for some time now to start paying attention to her dreams. And so after a few months of radio silence, she sent me an email about a dream that struck her as nothing short of communication from her mother that just passed away a few months ago. I won't paste the whole dream here, but I've been walking mom through most of the detail and we've come up with some fantastic stuff that does suggest the dream was a message.

However, I asked my mother what colors and shapes she remembers: red, yellow, and blue (the primary colors).

As for shapes: squares, triangles, and rectangles (no circles). Hmmmm.

I've been simmering on this for some time, not coming up with anything, but I can't imagine the basics don't have significance. And perhaps they showed up as sort of elementary school material since my mother's just beginning to pay attention to her dreams and learn from them, but I'm curious if anyone else out there has other ideas.

Platonic solids?
There is so much pseudo information out there regarding geometry you have to take everything you read with a grain of salt, but there may be something there that makes sense to you.
