Ive heard people talk about how one can go back in time and experience your past, is this true?

Hi guys, im new here. Ok, well the question is in the title, and i wonder if this is really true, i have much doubt, but then again i have never experienced AP yet. Can you really see yourself in the early days? Can you see your music heroes that have died before you were even born? etc...
