Reading this book How the Hippies Saved Physics - Science, Counterculture, and the Quantum Revival. It's a must (CF, Beek, etc.).

Here the author connects the aspirations and phenomena of the psyche (Eastern wisdom and the paranormal) with the discoveries or implications of quantum theory.

It deals with non-locality as its central thesis and 'entanglements' of the sort that make 'quantum information science' possible.

It is East meets West in a cogent, easy reading exposition.

I recommend it. :)

The "Tao Of Physics" by Fritjof Capra is another one, concentrating more on Eastern teachings as compared to "Western" science and quantum physics. It is a real classic as it already was published in the 70ies, but has not lost much of its actuality.

Have found this now on YT on this nearly seminal work (but not yet seen it all by now, it's got several parts).
