Energy work is used as a part of OBE practice- but it's also used for other things. So it depends on what you're trying to do. So if you're trying to OBE, between what you learn in the online tutorials and what is in the Energy Work subforum you should be ok- but if you want to get a little more advanced in your energy work, definitely get the book, it's chock-full of great information and a bunch of new exercises he has developed.
