BWG not importing

I just pout BWG from the CD onto my computer, but I downloaded months ago, so I got rid of the old version and whenever I try to import sound files from the CD to the program it says it is not available...
Why won't it work??

Is it a registered copy? Because my understanding is that it has to be registered for the import part of it to work.
