This is pretty cool...apparently flowers have evolved to display patterns on their petals that are invisible to the human eye, because we can only see light waves whose frequency lies between 400 and 800 terahertz. A photographer has captured the hidden patterns using a camera that can take ultraviolet light and "translate" it into a visible-light-spectrum photograph.
A lot of flowers have "bullseye"-type patterns that help guide bees to the pollen in their center. I had no idea a dandelion looked so different to a bee!
