Hello all,

Can anyone give tips on how to turn lucid dreams into an OBE?
I have read somewhere about jumping through a mirror etc.
But how do I get myself to do this whilst dreaming.

Do I have to just say to myself before I sleep. "When I dream lucidly I am able to have an OBE and remember it consiously?"

thanks for any help
Bryan

If you are not ready, jumping through a mirror and such will just lead to a change of scenery in your LD.
I would suggest to first get a good skill level on lucid dream, going through a mirror for example is a rather basic skill. Then find a guide in your LD, which can also take a while. A guide should be noticeably different from your usual dream characters.
With the guide you then should be able to find your way to the "public astral". After that, you will eventually learn to enter the public astral just by the intent to do so.

A few things have worked for me to turn an LD into and OBE.

These include:

Laying down in the LD and going to sleep - this usually induces the projection reflex
Laying down in the LD and performing OBE excercises - same effect.

The trick seems to be to recognise the point at which the separation starts to occur - for me its a very visceral feeling like being sucked inside out in my stomach area - and then just allowing the projection to happen.

Once I am out I usually end up in the blackness, where I do the usual routine of shouting "clarity now" and "vision now" to establish control in the new domain.

Note that I find this method a lot easier than directly projecting from the physical.

I hope this is in someway helpful and I wish you the best of luck with your explorations.

Thank you very much Alienor and Jasis.
Shall practise some of these skills as you suggested. I am keen to do OBE and as lucid dreaming seems
to be happening to me this month i thought it may be my best option.
Shall let you know of any success.
Welcome any one elses views

kind regards
Bryan
