I saw a girl standing on a beach. Then another girl came up and stood beside her. I thought "Oh, look at that love." One put her arm around the other. The wind kicked up and the second girl reached to brush back her hair. I thought to myself how beautiful she was. Then she looked back at me (the me having the dream) and I saw that she WAS me! And so was the other girl she was standing next to...

Amazing! I had a similar experience years ago and I haven't read of anything like it since :D .

Whereas you observed your two selves I was simply one of the two. In my case I was standing the bathroom of a house I grew up in when the shower curtain flew open and another me said 'Boo!'. We were identical down to a hair. We embraced joyfully slapping each other on the back and then we took off to show 'everybody' we had found each other.

Like I said, similar, but perhaps different....
