I remember it but...

Throughout the past few days, i've been trying to remember/notice my dreams a little more, and also trying to dream lucidly... there was one time where i do remember this one dream i had, but i cannot at all recall what day it was... i can't tell if it happened last night, or if it was a week ago, i just remember it happening... does this happen to anyone else where they recall a dream they've had, but they can't remember when they've had it?

It have happen to me that I suddenly recall dreams from many days ago. But I don't think it have happen that after waking up I recall a dream and don't know which night I had it on.

Yes, it happens. The funny thing is that you'll remember again when you're dreaming, and forget again when you wake up, unless you write some keywords about it the very moment you wake up.
